The amount of shit centre halves and defensive mids shooting from 30 or 40 yards annoys me much more

Harsh on Colin Calderwood

Long time ago tbf and considering the other bloke involved is actually on his way to prison I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't the ringleader
-
Cattermole seems like a decent bloke IMO

Was the Ruiter keeper guy that got injured also shit?
-
Why would they go to the bother of appointing a caretaker when Carrick could just do it and there's probably as much chance of him being decent than Solskjaer

We could only dream of spending the money they were spending, and we've been better over those years. Would be nice to win something though . Would also be nice if Man City and Chelsea f***ed off, but there you go. Aye you've been better but won nowt. I think the fact Arsene is undoubtedly a winner helped him win those. IIRC they beat teams better than them, that had also beat Spurs to win 2 finals. That's the one thing with Poch and Klopp (he's won stuff but also lost an amazing amount of finals). If Jose had such competitive teams, he would've won a trophy by now with both clubs. He wouldn’t have made Spurs or Liverpool that good though which is a major thing you’ve left out

Leffe absolutely loves mentioning that Spurs don’t spend any money whenever other big team’s finances are brought up

Al Ain knock River Plate out of the Club World Cup on pens

Never been convinced by Rabiot either. Nice and tidy but you don’t want him in a tough CL game
-
I don't care that he couldn't dribble, he spent whole 90 minutes of games basically hiding from the ball instead of looking for it

That opening statement is very much open to debate. Well Moyes side finished 7th. Van Gaal 4th and then 4th Mourinho 6th and then 2nd I’m not sure in what universe finishing 2nd can’t be seen as an improvement? And now comfortably outside the Champions League, having spent more than anyone, getting paid more than anyone, ruining squad morale, and falling out with everyone. That universe, the one where the others listed didn't do that. Pep's spent more tbf. Mourinho would never have bought some of the players Pep has though. Even this week he was whinging about his players lack of physicality. I'm not one of those that hates him either, I think he makes the Premier more interesting, but his time is up at the very top. Best bet for him would be a club just below that tier, he'd be good for a team like Everton maybe. Or played them correctly, the likes of Sane, Sterling would have floundered under Mourinho. Hell there's no way in hell Mourinho would have played Silva and De Bruyne in a midfield 3, he would have stuck at least one of them on the wing covering the fullback. Not really a Pep thing either, he's failed to do anything that Emery, Klopp or Pochettino have done I.E. actually improve the players you have. Didn't he get rid of De Bruyne during his time at Chelsea? Not sure about it, but yeah, he doesn't really trust the flair players does he? And Salah. He expects wingers and attacking midfielders to score or assist in every single game or he drops them until their replacement doesn't score in a game and they're back in

He wouldn’t be getting sacked if they were Season isn’t even half way done. Given the form of City and Liverpool, 3rd is a very decent result and would have been very achievable if it weren’t for a few wrong uns in their dressing room. I’m not defending him. He’s a moany c*** but he’s also a very good manager. He may well have run out of big clubs to manage now so be interesting to see what he gets offered next. Who are the wronguns? Let me guess, Pogba? Conte, Allegri and Deschamps all got on with him fine

Did he ever carry himself with class?

They may have better players (spending a few hundred million will do that) but they are in no way a better team now than they were when he took over

Giggseh till the end of the season
-
He was an utter disgrace
-
Aye its way worse than Kane on Lejeune like
-
He was played there and was anonymous iirc. A midfielder of his talent in our team has to bring more than what he brings to Liverpool
-
Aye, great draw. Would love to see Atletico beat Juve

Didn’t you think Grabban just came across as a massive t***? Someone with that facial hair is not to be trusted
