Doesn't happen at other sports though. 82,000 go to All Ireland hurling and football finals each year, with no segregation and there's never any bother in the stadium. It's not normal in my opinion

One thing I don't get is, why doesn't he cross the ball earlier instead of constantly cutting back? You don't need pace for that, just got to look at Albrighton's crossing, and Beckham's for that matter. Lack of confidence? Maybe Rafa has instructed him not to? Its frustrating like and doesn't help our attack at all. Gayle was furious with him a few matches back IIRC. He's a left footed player that predominantly plays on the right. Of course he cuts in. I'm sure Beckham would get it onto his right if he was played on the left, and Albrighton does exactly that at all times. FWIW, I have no problem with Ritchie, he's in poor form at the moment, that's really obvious, but at a basic level he gives you a certain amount of tenacity and desire to get involved that you wouldn't get with other players. When he's back in form he'll be fine. Been "out of form" for absolutely ages mind Only a couple of months. Compare that to Perez. Aye but I wouldn't say Perez is out of form. He's just not very good, in the position he's played in for the last two and a half seasons anyway

He's really not that good at that either tbh. His supposed defensive reliability is massively overstated imo. He puts himself into positions where he *has* to make hero defensive stops, which isn’t the sign of a good defender. Just got merked the fuck out by Knockaert Well that's the only time its happened in the game up against a tricky winger and he recovered really well
