I couldn't care less about how much footballers earn, I'd like to see them all take a wage reduction and spread the savings across ticket prices/invest it in grassroots football and opportunities for little ones but that is about it. My argument isn't about the size of a wage slip of a footballer, my argument is that for the wage they earn I would happily take the criticism that they receive and retire a happy man. Firstly you will never be put in that situation so you don't know how you would react. Secondly, not every person is the same
