Mascherano has been class
-
He's looked shit all tournament. No he hasn't. He's looked better at right back than a guy we are trying to sign
-
You have to admire Kuyt, not looking out of place playing full back in a world cup semi final at 34
-
Surely not calling him a cunt for winning that foul?
-
He's injured. Can't be too injured if he's coming on now
-
Decent game I think despite the lack of chances. Lavezzi probably the best player on the park so far. Some moments of brilliance from Messi. Demichelis has really shored up the Argentinian defence. Dutch have been poor. I don't see what that Wijnaldum guy does apart from make easy passes
-
Absolutely no need for that foul from Martins Indi. Horrible challenge by Demichelis too
-
Lavezzi looking very dangerous
-
Best I've seen Argentina play
-
Perez looks a lot better than Gago
-
It doesn't say much for Janmaat when Dirk Kuyt is playing right back ahead of him
-
Weird how he never mentions he's an international manager these days, 1 win in 7 I wouldn't admit to being manager of a micky mouse team either, tbf. Micky mouse team that England haven't beaten in 30 years

Saw this on twitter now showing the flaws of man marking. Unsurprisingly not commented on in the media where zonal marking is the devil

Khedira was absolutely outstanding last night

Is this the biggest ever result in football in modern times? Not in terms of the score but in terms of surprise and in terms of how important the game itself was

I stood up together with a majority of the stadium to applaud a 7th goal, Klose being subbed off and a national team that had just gone into the history books for all the wrong reasons in probably the darkest day of Brazilian football. It has nothing to do with moral high ground or whatever you think and all down to do with the fact that a big part of this country has shown the world that all their pre-conceived ideas are wrong. Also, people saying this is the end of Brazilian football comparing a 200 million populated country to the island of yours. We are the biggest nation in footballing history, between our third win and 4th win it went 24 years, we will have some great players maturing for Russia and there's no doubt in my mind that we'll win it. Why are you so sure that you'll win that? You need to find two new midfielders,a striker,a right back and probably one attacking midfielder/winger before then and Germany will still have the majority of their team along with a few other teams Because after last night I have to believe in something Fair enough

Whats the media reaction like over there? Whole team/manager vilified or specific targets? As funny as the whole Fred thing has been I did kind of feel bad for him with the reaction he got when he was shown on the giant screens after been hauled off. The Fred thing was horrible I thought. It isn't your strikers fault when you concede 7 goals
-
What odds could you get on Toni Kroos being named player of the tournament? I could see him winning it if Germany win the final
-
FFS, first of all he played well from what I saw and secondly how can that be your headline on a night Germany beat Brazil 7-1
-
Is Muller on 4 or 5?
-
Ronaldinho and Kaka should definitely have gone to the world cup. At least they have a bit of fucking flair
-
Have Germany ever won the world cup as a unified nation?
-
That's what you get when you play a load of cloggers in midfield
