  1. I don't understand how Tuchel is rated so highly I agree, but he's on the managerial merry-go-round, and now that Pochettino is employed, Allegri and Tuchel are the next two due to be linked with every struggling elite team. He turned Mainz from a shithouse to a Bundesliga mainstay (following Klopp) and turned Dortmund around after Klopp's dissapointing exit (7th). He also left PSG with the best win record in Ligue 1 history, so the reason he's highly rated is because he's done very well in all his jobs I reckon Did well at Mainz, aye. Klopp's last season was an anomaly, they were always going to return to being the second best team. Had a good first season there but never threatened Bayern at any point like they did before and since. Ligue 1 win ratio isn't important. Got to the CL Final last year tbf but weren't overly impressive

  3. Why do people go on like it's only ok for a promoted team to finish midtable? He can't work miracles but has done and is doing a fantastic job
  4. Haven't watched us this season but thought Matty was really good when he got a chance last season. Hopefully he can keep his place and push on
  5. The fans absolutely pilloried the other people as well like It just wasn't picked up on because they're men and it happens every week. Personally would have preferred if they had a dig at Merson or something instead as he's always talking shite and I've never heard of this woman before. Obviously the fan reaction should stay away from sexist opinions and just focus on the opinion itself.
  6. The Leeds account has responded to loads of different people like this More sexist for others to just highlight it when it's a woman
  7. Would love if Bielsa beat Fat Sam but feels like the kind of one Fat Sam will win and be insufferable about
  8. Was a class player but he really had a very short peak. 3 brilliant seasons in the middle of otherwise being pretty average?
  9. He can't really play as a sole striker, Germany tried that and they failed and so did his previous club and they had to always pair him up with someone, tbf both Giroud and Abraham are scoring in most games they start as well, the problem is even on the wing Werner gets great chances, he just seems to need 3-4 chances before scoring one. Lampard is really showing his inexperience, that Arsenal game was a total s*** show and despite having world class players and decent back-ups in every position he just can't seem to make it work. According to Whoscored he played up front against Southampton and got 2 goals and an assist, then played there against Man Utd in that 0-0 in the next game and has been on the left ever since
  10. Isn't a large part of Werner playing poor due to Lampard shifting him out to the left though? He started pretty well when used as a striker IIRC. Don't see anything to suggest Lampard is a good manager personally
  11. I like Martinelli and Smith-Rowe and think they deserve their chance tbh. Pepe and Willian have been very poor this season, so why not. Still can’t believe Pepe cost over £70 million It's terrifying really. Can't fathom how scouts could have placed that value on him. They probably told them he was worth £30m at most and they did a Stewart Donald on it
  12. Looking forward to Ben Foster's next YouTube video
  13. I think if anyone said Fernandes was the best midfielder in the league a lot would say de Bruyne is better In general yes but not within the timeframe of since Fernandes arrived I would think. It's like who was the best player in 2019/20? Lewandowski without a doubt. Who is the best player in the world? Messi IMO
  14. Loved Suarez as a player at Liverpool
  15. Bruno Fernandes literally transformed the team from mid table to as good as anybody bar Liverpool. De Bruyne has probably had his worst period at Man City during this time. If this wasn't Froggy saying it nobody would bat an eyelid
  16. Henderson is not good at all IMO from what I've seen
  17. I guess it's obvious why but people are absolutely obsessed with Man Utd on here. Don't understand though how people can get themselves so bothered about whether OGS is doing a good job or not. If Man Utd fans are happy with him, then fair enough
  18. McCoist seems like a great bloke
  19. Aye his touch is class. Really stood out playing for Ireland where nobody else can control the ball
  20. Overall he was probably value for money but he was generally terrible in the PL after an ok start. In one of the years where he was a regular starter he had like 35 games with no goals or assists Edit: Gouff not Ayoze
  21. Remember him getting absolutely skinned by Anthony Stokes in a Scottish Cup Final against Hibs a few years ago but must have improved since then. Tbf you can say the Scottish league is poor but they've just topped their Europa League group as well
