  1. I like the way that Rodgers has shown the flexibility to change from the keep possession at all costs style he had at Swansea to a more direct style at Liverpool
  2. I am almost certain that if there wasn't goal line technology, every pundit would have said it was over the line
  3. That Woodrow chaps' eyebrows are very odd
  4. Ffs Alan I'm fairly sure he didn't get sent off for just going onto the field
  5. Jose can't have a match go by without being the centre of attention. Monumental cunt
  6. An absolute tiny amount of saliva came out of his mouth, no way it was spitting
  7. Not really.... Terry and Mertesacker are comfortably better. For all Kompany's organisation and leadership qualities ( didn't show it there mind ) he's very average a 1 v 1 defender....Isn't the first time he's cocked up like that and won't be the last. The media will find a way to divert the blame as they always do..... its not the first time he's done this. edit: GOOD GOD WHAT A GOAL. Jelavic fouled him . It's already started.... no matter how many errors the bloke makes he's untouchable they aren't. I'm not saying he's untouchable but every defender makes mistakes occasionally. Average 1v1 defender?! Jesus Christ He is very average 1 on 1. Whenever Messi ran at him the other night, Kompany dived in totally missed the ball and Messi and left a big opening. Messi does that to pretty much anybody in the world. Mad reasoning Exactly, everybody knows that Messi will take the piss out of you, so how stupid must you be to dive in on him? IMO Kompany is liked in England becuase he is a typically English defender, all or nothing

  10. Good piece about Steven Gerrard and whether he is a 'top, top' player http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/mar/13/steven-gerrard-liverpool?CMP=twt_gu
  11. Sherwood isn't exactly a classic example of a classy individual
  12. Losing 2-1 to Barcelona is fucking shit like
  13. Been excellent in terms of what has been asked of him. They're 3-1 up and he's been holding onto the ball. I suppose he has been good in terms if what he's been asked to do, I'd just like him to play a bit further forward. And he's just assisted a goal
  14. I don't think Iniesta's been great here. He's stayed very deep and played almost as another Xavi
  15. When is the last time Barcelona played an English team in a two legged tie and a player for the English team didn't get sent off?
  16. He's always excellent, but I think I'd rather watch Zidane or Ronaldinho on their days. More entertaining players are hard to find. I meant best in terms of quality, not in terms of how entertaining they are. I used to fucking love Zidane too, the way he'd just glide around the pitch. Kaka aswell when in his pomp at Milan
  17. I've been a bit bored for the last while of this game so I decided just to watch Messi. He is absolutely brilliant in everything he does. Best player I've ever seen by a mile
  18. He's made Kompany look Sunday league the few times he's ran at him
  19. Here I was thinking that Barca were unwatchable That was a quote from Franz Beckenbauer not me. And they are a bit more direct under Martino
  20. This is shaping up to be a good game
  21. "In the end, it'll be like Barca: unwatchable. They will pass the ball back even on the goal-line". Don't know if anybody saw this quote from Beckenbauer last night about Bayern. I have to agree with him on this
