  1. Was Williamson's every touch booed, or was that bullshit?
  2. Comes "back in on tuesday" is what McClaren said after the game today
  3. This is the point really. Putting another tier on the East stand would actually improve that area dramatically. The stand could be moved out to the edge of the paved area with access underneath like the Leazes and Milburn stands. A mirrored glass fascia would look a million times better than the concrete monstrosity there now and would reflect light onto Leazes terrace. Even the most reactionary town planner should be able to see the sense in something like this. I suppose space would limit it to something the size of the 3rd tier at Old Trafford though so dont know how many seats that would add. Success on the pitch must come first though and we all know how likely that is. It wouldnt, it'd block the light as the sun goes over the milburn side of the stadium
  4. Can't make sense of the midfield. 4 CMs.. Unless it's Wijnaldum #10, Ayoze left, Sissoko right

  6. Can we play 12 players in friendlies?
  7. There are a few other stadiums which St James would go to if we expand the gallowgate http://i.imgur.com/RQQrZyM.png http://i.imgur.com/EzQZvPn.png http://i.imgur.com/sO7fraq.png St James' as it is now is truly unique, that's why I like it
  8. Colo will probably start and be captain (not that that's any better than Colback). Needs game time after hardly playing in the US.
  9. I like how now they're back from America, all updates and pics and video from the club have just stopped. No training pics from them back in England, hardly anything on twitter. You'd think they'd put up some pics of Mitrovic meeting his new team mates and training seeing as today could be his debut? Nope. Just some shite about sponsoring the team against Southampton
  10. No, you're exactly right. Like I said before, there's no point in going up to 60,000, and only having ~50,000 turn up every week. Until we can fill what we have, there's absolutely no point
  11. There are right to light laws though. Expanding the east stand = making it higher = blocking light to the building behind, which isnt allowed. IIRC the only way to expand the east stand would be move the listed building to another site and rebuild it, brick by brick
  12. The 'yellow wall' in Dortmund is 24k standing, ~13k seated
  13. No point when we can hardly fill 52k right now Yep, why speculate to accumulate when you can just cut every cost there is? It's not, it'd be wasting money. Money which right now needs to go towards the team, which in turn will mean full crowds and then the need to expand. No point in being like the mackems with a stadium you can only 70% fill
  14. No point when we can hardly fill 52k right now
  15. Sissoko won't be leaving. Guaranteed starter here, and as we see with Cabaye going to a team way below his level, regular football is super important this season. Unless he moves to a team worse than us (which he wont), he wont be going anywhere this summer. After Euro 2016 he'll be on the first flight out of here
  16. I like how "dan king" is obviously just like "fuck this, I dont know how to fill 10 minutes. Sadio, here's a GoPro. Go crazy"
  17. Bigi dancing at 6:57 and Obertan's face at 9:02 are my personal highlights. Haidara watching Devious Maids ffs http://i.imgur.com/VKbbZBb.png
