Football isn’t as simple as player A scored this, player B scored this so add them together job done. Isak is an absolutely world class striker on his day who brings more than goals. It’s much more nuanced than adding up goal figures. We’re essentially going to be weakening our team massively

That’s the problem, the drop in quality is massive whoever it is. He’s irreplaceable but even harder in this market. The only ones even close were Gyokeres and Sesko, we went for one of them and missed out. Thats why Samu feels worth It, he’s the youngest and seems the most interesting. Think I’d prefer Jackson over Larsen.

My worry is the sheer quality drop off we are looking at here. His goals are one thing and how many points they get us. But his overall game and quality and how defences react to him is massive. We are in for a huge shock imo because we’re not going to get anywhere near replacing him in the time left. I like Wissa but doesn’t even touch the sides, it’s very concerning
