He's been very poor since his initial burst of goals when he first arrived. He still pops up with the odd goal, but he looks a shadow of what we first bought. Johnson, Borini and Bardsley are are greatest goal threats at the minute. I think if we sign Scocco before noon tomorrow, he'll be eligible for Stoke on Wednesday so we may get a look at him then. Like I say, he surely cannot be worse than Altidore.

All of those scores are too high. I would have given Cattermole a 7 and the rest would have been 3's and 4's except Altidore, who would have been flattered by a 3.

I won't get into arguments about attendances. Newcastle get higher gates than us for both league and cup games, I really don't know why some Sunderland fans even try to argue against it.

I was at the game yesterday and our so called strikers are pitiful, a real worry considering the week we have ahead of us. Hopefully he'll bring someone in who's willing to have a shot, because from what I witnessed first hand yesterday the ones we have currently aren't up to the job. Stoke on Wednesday. Nothing less than 3 points will do, otherwise we're right back in the s**t. I'll get into some derby banter after that game

RTG is full of arses, but there's some quality posters on there too. If you dip into SMB, you'll get some good banter with some very intelligent posters. I've had debates with two Physicists and at least one Doctor. It's not all bad. I understand your sentiments entirely about wanting us to lose No, I'm no longer a ST holder. I used to go go home and away when I was single (happy days!) but two kids, a wife, and no pay rise since 2008 means I have to pick and choose my games carefully, but if things pick up financially I'll be back more regularly, although a season ticket is probably a long way off.

Yes I do, but I can't give you my username, sorry. I'd get dogs abuse off some of the idiots on there if they knew I wasn't being a complete a**ehole on here (it's all they know). We have a couple of Mags who post on there who are really good contributors and they add to the board, so I thought I'd join here and try to do the same.

I rarely watch telly. I've got two kids under 10 who are really active (two lads) so I probably only watch a couple of hours a week, apart from football.

Bloody hell, I was going to hang around for a bit and get to know the place, you lot are quick If you read my intro on my first post you'll see I'm here to contribute, not agitate, I'll leave that to the puerile knackers who seem to infest internet forums. Hopefully I'll add a different, but probably not objective, angle to many of the discussions on here. If anyone wants a ding dong, then I'm sorry but I'm not your man You'll have to look elsewhere. I'm sure there are plenty of idiots from my side of the divide who pop up on here with the sole intention of winding you up, and we have them on the Sunderland forums too.
