  1. These are all players we pretty much don't want ffs So much hyperbole on here, have you forgotten the Pardew/Carver days? We've got pretty the bunch of players as last season.. except we are much worse this year. A shambles at the back. So what is it? Is the manager not coaching or motivating them? Unlikely. Has all the negativity written in the press gotten to them? Probable.. So who's reposnsible for sorting all of this out? We are losing in a cup competition we don't particularly care about this season, given the manager is working with two hands tied behind us back he's clearly decided this cup isn't a priority. He sorted this rabble out last season btw don't you have any faith whatsoever? Go read page 10 or post 225, whatever comes first.

  3. This is the first time I've honestly thought the end is near.. it doesn't matter who you are as a manager, when the players stop making an effort that's the beginning of the end. I've seen nothing from our players this season so far (the ones that have been here at least a year I mean) to suggest that they are giving their all for this manager or club.
  4. I'm still waiting for Riviere to recreate his 12 goal a season form at Monaco tbh.
  5. Until we need them to defend back post crosses
  6. His original tweet said it would be an 'emotional farewell'. He's effectively ending a relationship with Yedlin TBF
  7. As has already been mentioned, it's concerning. But you have to consider he's a #10 playing in a new league. And was deployed in a wide midfield role in a 442 diamond or as 1 of a 3 in the middle of a 433. Not exactly his natural or preferred position. After watching a lot of YouTube videos of him (I know), I think Rafa wants him for work rate alone. For a #10 he's constantly hassling and niggling at players and when out of possession is chasing back and often, regaining possession before playing it forward quickly. The issue is he would be here too. My point was he's a #10 in a new league, that poor form was compounded by the fact he wasn't played in that position. It might be hard for him here, but it'll be a hell of a lot harder if we stick him in beside Hayden.
  8. To counter this, Mitro's stats were decent, look how that's panned out.

  10. Am I right in thinking I seen a graphic on here that Lejeune had the best defensive header % in La Liga and Joselu had the best offensive header %? If so, I'm hoping these 2 add some threat to set pieces and save us from them aswell
  11. I would just be happy to have a #10 playing as a #10 instead of a make shift Ayoze / Diame combo
  12. Looks concrete to me like. We'll see. There's other reasoning for me to believe that he knows what he's talking about and knows people within the club... but he's already backtracked and said "expect something to be announced by early next week". Wish Rafa would just make up his mind. First he walked, and now he is backtracking. Sack this fat arse I say. TBF it is a waiters job to go back and forth.
  13. I know of a disruptive little Frenchman that might be tempted
  14. For a #10, his 1 in 7 goals per game ratio doesn't instil me with confidence It's even worse in Serie A, admittedly he's be played deeper in a 2 or 3 man midfield, but still.
  15. His distribution is normally his only asset. That was s**** on Sunday aswell. So he's still a c***. It's never been as asset, his distribution has always been absolutely appalling. Maybe not his kicking, but he can throw a size five football like a cricket ball. Usually it's accurate over distance anarl.
  16. What was his share previously? And I thought his money was tied up in Sports Direct shares, hows he bought wallpaper with other wallpaper?

    Isaac Hayden

Not at all. I just mean after that many games of watching Jack, I thought people would be more patient before laying into Hayden when he's obviously far better than our recent geordie alternative. He covers ground, he's leggy so gets tackles and blocks in. He also passes and runs forward. All positives, and especially considering he's like 22. I want the lad to succeed here, but if he's getting pelted 2 games into his PL career, and compared to Alan Smith then whats the point?
  18. I don't like the way he sprints. The stance he takes up grates on me, and I thought he was meant to be quick

    Isaac Hayden

That's not my issue with him, his first touch is very erratic and struggles under pressure. He can get away with it in the Championship but in the PL it results in either giving the ball away or the ball just stopping. He's not alone though, a lot of the team struggle under pressure. I know Colback shouldn't be used as the yard stick. But after 3 season of the ginger cunt, I can't believe the criticism Hayden is getting after 2 PL games, when we've watched literally 100 with that useless tit chasing players like a moth round a candle
