There are numerous reasons why: http://www.columbia.edu/itc/anthropology/v1007/jakabovics/mf2.html

I think that's the one they'll actually get him for. Deserves to die in jail.

Boo. :'( ... but hardly an issue. Telegraph reporting that Warner was apparently engaged in a 'triple bluff' now. News to me, but hardly surprising behaviour from the lying, racist thief. Overall, however, it's encouraging that there's an increasing belief that FIFA cannot survive this. I think that the majority of people that care about football want the total deconsturction of FIFA, and I certainly feel that way myself. New administration with complete transparency - I don't see or hear anyone who would object to that, apart from FIFA. p.s. love your avatar...

As I mentioned in the post above yours... (and 2.5hrs before the Telegraph reported it)

But then we would have had a first Arab (as well as African) World Cup and FIFA would have missed out on the bribes from Qatar. Second, Blatter genuinely believed (perhaps he still does) that he would win the Nobel Prize for Peace and this would have been greatly abetted by South Africa as opposed to Morocco. Third, South Africa was able to pay bigger bribes. Morocco paid Jack Warner $1m for his vote, but SA paid him $10m, so he voted for SA and kept both bribes.

I had to watch it for work. It's not even funny. It's just a pile of shite.
-
All five of today's NUFC stories on the Comical website are a load of shite. Charlie Austin - as if.
-
Some great stuff on Sky News right now. Platini asked Blatter to resign. Blatter refused. Platini has not ruled out taking UEFA out of FIFA, etc... Explosive stuff...

Yes, that was a cornerstone of their pitch. I was editing a magazine in Qatar at the time when the FIFA inspectors turned up in 2010. The heat - and the fact that the 'technology' Qatar claimed was going to be able to cool the stadiums (what they would have done about the rest of the country I know not) didn't actually exist, then or now - is why Qatar's bid came last, by some distance, of the nine submissions for the 2018/2022 World Cups. Russia came 2nd last. England came top.

Optimum temperature for football player health and performance is 16 degrees Centigrade and THAT figure came from a doctor at Qatar's Aspire Sports Hospital...

Doubtless Sima will be along in a minute, squealing like Napoleon from Animal Farm, about the atrocious 'design and quality'...

It's a mystery. I guess they're not ready yet. They're going to be using the same shirt as me though, the adidas stripe 15. Be interesting to see what they use as a crest.
-
The adidas shirts I'm selling are vastly superior in design and quality to any of the Puma efforts. The three stripes speak for themselves, really. I understand that some people don't like the 'alternative' sponsor patch and I can see why (although many people love it) - so I'm also selling the same shirt without the logo. Just the shirt, and an embroidered crest. They look good.
-
We'll agree to differ on certain points. There are several people on here that have not a clue what they are talking about when it comes to what I am selling - and how much (or rather, how little) money I am making. If one must pontificate on a subject, then it's wise to actually do some research unless you want to come across as an ignorant tool. I'll be sure to post a link to the 'sponsorless' shirt today. That will make Sima self-combust.
-
You happy that he's making money out of it then? Seeing as you don't care that the design and quality are f***ing appalling and it'll be an absolute embarrassment to walk around in. Not to mention the example it sets for bairns and the like. In terms of £/hr, I probably make about as much as the poor sod stitching the shirts together. It's never been about the money. We can differ on design - I don't really conduct my life according to the strictures of N-O - but the quality of the shirts and the crests is top, top notch. Oh, and I also do this shirt WITHOUT the 'ashley' sponsors' logo - so I'm sure that'll ease the tortures of some posters here. One in particular seems to howl at the moon at every mention of these shirts - Nike, adidas... The patches are still selling well. I think I make about £1 a piece on them. Some cock used the word 'profiteering' earlier. Aye...
-
My prediction is that we'll spend upwards of £20mil. The press will be telling everyone that Ashley's put his money where his mouth is, but the money spent will actually be less than what we receive for outgoing players. I'm not sure the press will fall for the same trick twice. We were told how Ashley 'splashed the cash' last summer to the tune of £29m except: 1) we didn't spend anywhere near that 2) that we ran another transfer surplus was not reported 3) the majority of the players we bought were s**** £20m on that squad will see us in 17th or down. We need two strikers at £20m each, before we even consider the gaping holes in the rest of the squad.

Kin' hell, the clip of that A one-off done for someone on here. Surprising reaction on Facebook - could have sold 100. And got done by the club for using the crest? Indeed. Ashleyout.com have been speaking to the people responsible for the Rangers' redandblackshirt.co.uk so you might see something similar from them with a crest that doesn't breach copyright.

Been there, done that..!

I'm inclined to agree. Edwards is hurting from his ban, he's let that slight become personal, and he's since written a number of articles such as this which lack balance. The essence of this piece is correct, that much is true, but there's way too much subjectivity therein.

USC carry a big range of Converse.

You've not really got the hang of this, have you? Apart from the abuse of course.

Are you still banging this drum? f***ing hell man You think the £23m figure is accurate? F***ing hell man Wasnt talking about that part, clearly the ludicrous bullshit you spouted after Fantastic construction of an argument. Really forensic; very impressive. If you really are stupid enough to think Ashley has taken £150m of TV money out then good luck to you. Given that you are that stupid its not really surprising you didnt understand my point. Another well-constructed and well-argued response. A strawman argument, and some ignorant and personal abuse thrown in for good measure. If anything, you're endorsing my position with your vacuous retorts. Ad hominem attacks are usually a good sign that there's no real argument on offer.
