  1. Thing is, there are thousands of people who created the Cardiff atmosphere - myself included - who have racked it in to be replaced with 'fans' who think that Pardew is doing an OK job. I'm struggling to see how that atmosphere - brilliant in its sheer venom - can be replicated.
  2. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'd take Conference tomorrow if it meant we were shot of Jabba.
  3. He is untouchable because of Ashley. Neither of them going anywhere. Pardew would survive a relegation easy.
  4. It's so fucking obvious he's mentally ill. There's four clear markers there. He's not a well man.
  5. He's Conference level at best. Who'd you rather have - retarded Alan or Gary Mills?
  6. After Kinnear's 2nd departure from the club Pardew said he'd be getting more directly involved in transfers. He did bring in Obertan before as you know, but Colback had Pardew written all over him also. Although it's unlikely, he could have wanted Riviere too. Don't think we can pin Riviere on Pardew. I'm curious - given Fatty's penchant for getting value for money - how we ended up paying £6m+ for a player who looks like £500,000 worth.
  7. I saw Luuk de Jong play several times for FC Twente and each time he looked fantastic; mobile, aggressive, two-footed, prolific - I was sure he was headed for the top. But it's very tricky to figure out a player's real level in the Eredivisie, for reasons noted here. Interestingly, Vurnon Anita always looked class at Ajax and I believe he still is, but Pardew hasn't a clue what to do with him.
  8. This right? ncj will be wedged up his sphincter again double quick, no doubt.
  9. Agree with all of that but I thought he hasnt taken money out of the club bar a small percentage of what he was owed What has happened to all the TV money? over £50M last year alone wasn't it? Nearer £80m with the prize money for 10th, etc. All gone.
  10. Friend of mine, GP with background in mental health, has diagnosed Pardew as a pure psychopath. In his case, it's indicated by the narcissism you mention, and also by: the anti-social behaviour the violence the compulsive lying the lack of empathy Google 'dark triad'. He's an appalling excuse for a man, and football manager but in mitigation, he's very ill. My guess would be that this is the psychological profile of a football manager at a big club - or probably most clubs probs the top executives of big business and banks etc tbh. Dunno like, pardew's delusions are on another level Agreed. It's a lazy generalisation to suggest you have to be psychotic to be a successful businessman.

  12. I agree it's moronic, but they're not at SJP just now (nor do I think we'll see either of them in the stripes again), so don't enter the equation. The players we have - even the squad we have including injuries - would do well to finish top half. I'm not sure Klopp/Mourinho/Guardiola/insert name of your most rated manager here could make a player out of some of our summer signings - most obviously the £6m or so we spunked on Riviere.
  13. This is NEVER a top six team. Top half at a (very hard) push. One striker, one centre half barely worth the name, no creative midfielder. you underestimate what a good, tactically astute manager can achieve imo. not sure I agree with the top 6 thing (with this current crop) but we'd get top half, no problem with someone worth their salt in charge. theres some real f***ing dross in this league man. Tony Pulis had palace a point or so off it last season. Top half I wouldn't argue with at all. People positing that we would be pushing for top six with someone else at the helm are including players who are no longer at the club, which is baffling. Might as well include Remy. The current squad at the club is not capable of 'pushing top six'. Not a chance.

  15. There's long-standing and significant amounts of evidence that suggest he's got a number of interlinked mental illnesses. Nothing wrong with this, of course, but the chances are he's making his condition/s worse by remaining in post instead of seeking, as a matter of urgency, the professional help he so obviously needs. Does this sound familiar? He's narcassistic. People who are diagnosed with a narcissistic personality disorder are characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance. They have a sense of entitlement and demonstrate grandiosity in their beliefs and behavior. They have a strong need for admiration, but lack feelings of empathy.[5] Symptoms of this disorder, as defined by the DSM-IV-TR, include:[1] Expects to be recognized as superior and special, without superior accomplishments Expects constant attention, admiration and positive reinforcement from others Envies others and believes others envy him/her Is preoccupied with thoughts and fantasies of great success, enormous attractiveness, power, intelligence Lacks the ability to empathize with the feelings or desires of others Is arrogant in attitudes and behavior Has expectations of special treatment that are unrealistic Other symptoms in addition to the ones defined by DSM-IV-TR include: Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends, has trouble keeping healthy relationships with others, easily hurt or rejected, appears unemotional, and exaggerating special achievements and talents, setting unrealistic goals for himself/herself.[6] Narcissistic Personality Disorder is characterized by an over-inflated sense of self-importance, as well as dramatic, emotional behavior that is in the same category as antisocial and borderline personality disorders. [7] In addition to these symptoms, the person may display arrogance, show superiority, and seek power.[8] The symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder can be similar to the traits of individuals with strong self-esteem and confidence; differentiation occurs when the underlying psychological structures of these traits are considered pathological. Narcissists have such an elevated sense of self-worth that they value themselves as inherently better than others, when in reality they have a fragile self-esteem, cannot handle criticism, and often try to compensate for this inner fragility by belittling or disparaging others in an attempt to validate their own self-worth. Comments and criticisms about others are vicious from sufferers of NPD, in an attempt to boost their own poor self-esteem.[9] Another narcissist symptom is a lack of empathy. They are unable to relate, understand, and rationalize the feelings of others. Instead of behaving in a way that shows how they are feeling in the moment, they behave in the way that they feel they are expected to behave or that gives them the most attention.[6] Yeah, that was one. A season-ticket holding GP friend of mine compiled a list of four separate issues, providing examples. I can't remember the last one but we had: 1) Sociopathic 2) clearly, 100% Psychotic 3) Narcissistic disorder 4) cannat mind He said that there was a bit more to it than just the whole 'Silver Fox'/'The King' thing he has going on. His professional opinion was that wor Alan isn't just a c***, he's actually very unwell.

  17. The BBC will never put that c*** on motd. Can you imagine. "Moussa never raped him like that when I was boss". 'Raked', Lenny. 'Raked'.
  18. The BBC will never put that cunt on motd.
  19. Surely you'd sell a lot more of these things without the profanity, no? No idea. Not me selling them. Just saw it on the eBay page of the guy who's sold shirts with the 'ashley - fu*ck off' patch on.
  20. Speaks fluent Dutch my arse. I interviewed him at an AZ - Twente match a couple of years back and this was after a post-match press conference conducted entirely in English. WHOOOOSH!!! Oh wow, that was a good one! You really got me bad!
