Probably one of the better ref performances I've seen in a recent Liverpool game (and he's still given about 3 fewer yellows than he should have).

This is our hardest of the 5 remaining games and we can still afford 2 defeats. If we lose it will do nothing at all for my nerves, but would be far from a disaster. -

Big boost for us that City got the job done in the last couple of games. -
I think it's Liverpool's hardest game for a while, but at home I reckon they'll just sneak it.

Can't wait for Allardyce to big himself up after this ridiculously lucky 1-2 defeat.

Man U not getting top 4 would be funny after all the hype, but Liverpool missing out makes it a bit harder for them to rebuild their team.

Confident of a good performance but may not be enough if they're at their best. Feel like this game would have been 1000x harder if West Ham held out for another 45 minutes tonight. -
Losing 5th to Liverpool of all teams would take some getting over. So close but so far to go - having a team that tries is torture.
-
Unbelievably weak refs. If a top manager criticises them, you can bet your life their team will start getting daft decisions in their favour.

Unless Arsenal put in their best performance for quite a few weeks, I'd expect at least a point. -
It's not ideal at all, but you have to say we've handled the pressure superbly recently. Easy to forget that the Spurs game was a pivotal clash between 4th and 5th because of the farce it became. There's no logical reason to think we won't get top 4, the odds of us missing out are 1/20 and no non-nufc fan I speak to thinks there is any possibility of us not qualifying. Does any of this make me feel better? NO.

Can't wait for this to all be sorted. Imagine how sick we'd feel if Liverpool were only a couple of points behind. Mixed feelings on Liverpool. Easy run in and I don't expect them to lose again, but surely a team defending like them cannot win 9 in a row?
-
Still in a great position of course but Liverpool are scaring me. That was one of their hardest remainging games.
-
The rules were changed to allow 5 teams in the Champions League but not 6. Fortunately Chelsea stood 0 chance of winning it this year.

Can't think of a big home game this season where we haven't risen to the occasion spectacularly (Liverpool seemed like a distraction ahead of the final). If it wasn't for the manner of the Villa defeat I'd be so confident of winning this but instead I'm gonna spend the whole week crapping myself. Interested to know how people think we will respond. Villa was just a blip right? RIGHT?!?! -
I'd say that if we finish behind Liverpool, we've probably fallen way short of 4th.
-
The amount of games being decided by dodgy and inconsistent handball decisions is frightening.
-
Probably but I'm reluctant to dismiss them. Winless since the 7-0, playing badly and probably can't afford another defeat. If they got their act together though, their remaining games are all winnable.
-
6 (7 if we beat Spurs). I think only going on our worst run of the season will stop us getting top 4, but I'll feel a lot better if and when I see a good response to that Villa performance.
-
And with Keane laughing off the penalty shout at half time, they might as well just replace Hasselbaink with Scholesy and go full on MUTV.
-
The number of VAR decisions each team get is irrelevant. The number of dodgy VAR decisions/non-decisions each team gets would be more interesting.
-
Wow how did Bruno 'controlling the game' Fernandes put that free header wide?
-
Has to get that on target
-
You don't think that this is a penalty by today's standards? Not like it hit him from point blank range either.
-
Can Neville stop doing Man Utd games? The Fernandes arselicking is getting silly.
