Loving Tripps and Tino buddied up.
-
I reckon these are my favourite Bundesliga side, no idea why, think it's the kit.
-
You were fortunate, hopefully I only painted a mental image of Eddie thinking he is a twat for you. ??
-
You saw it? Eddie has his number, professionalism pours out, body language says what a twat.

That little slaphead clown Luke Edwards, at the press conference wasn't interested in the Dortmund game and questions on that subject, instead wanted to try and be amusing with his arriving on time to the presser, then desperate to stir the pot further regarding Arteta, then moved onto Lascelles and the handshake. He's such a fucking troll, does my nut in.

It swings from our owners paid the refs, to the refs are betting on the matches. -

Paid the refs. One of the most corrupt matches ever seen. Spent the whole game diving. -

There's a fuck load of pessimistic posters in here. Jesus! -
After reading that, Trippier has given the nod.

Has he rang you and told you?

One of my new favourite things is our lads celebrating tackles, Bruno, Joelinton just before the final whistle on Saturday. Its quality, cracks me up, but shows they take everything seriously. -

I'm struggling to understand their fans acting like we set out to do a number on them? The game was relatively calm, and then Kai Havertz changed the complexity of the match, then emotions were raised. For me it was all down to one player. -

Villa will go on a dip once they face some real competitive matches, the fixture list was extremely generous to them, whereas I think it was unkind to us. Hopefully Forest give them a tough time today. -
I thought Southampton used him at LB a couple of times https://wyayescout.com/2023/08/14/analysing-our-new-right-back-tino-livramento/#:~:text=During the 2021%2F22 season, playing experience in this role. Maybe I'm wrong?

Trippier is still in the top three players though, even at 33. The way he's looked after his body, he is easily still one of the fittest players and can maintain what is now 100 minutes no problem. Looking at him he can go on to 35 before stamina drops if he continues the shape he's in. The only thing will be pace, but it's all monitored, Livramento is so fortunate, he's going to learn from an absolute master, I hope Trippiers attitude and the way he carries himself transcend to Tino.

Top managers have a way of dealing with it, Pep Guardiola has an abundance of top defenders, one minute John Stones can't get a game the next he's unplayable. They've all had to learn to stay hungry, one minute you're a cert, then you get a knock and the next guy steps up. Those players want to prove themselves and play for the manager, those that don't, he's been honest and said he won't stand in their way if they can't adapt to the demands.

Jose Enrique was similar, obviously on the opposite side when people are referring to the 1-1 duels, Jose grew with confidence and having a super understanding with Gutierrez ahead of him. If Tino gets that support he can go far. It's interesting when you look at someone like Gordon's development, how he's now busting a gut to help Dan Burn, this has taken a while because you need the stamina of a horse to keep getting up and down when your fullback isn't as quick as you. I like how Eddie puts them into little groups to learn from each other and work on patterns in formation, this being the recipe to build solid partnerships.

Bruno plays with real emotion, It's everything that makes him the player he is. His presence around others is infectious, Joelinton's transformation is down to hard work, Eddie Howe, and playing along side Bruno. Joelinton also plays with that emotion now, not at Bruno's levels, but it transcends.

So glad this boy is fit again. He's the juice in our engine room.

Can we just not be arsed why the decision went our way, enjoy the decision, don't analyse it. The only thing worth analysing is Kai Haverts and Arteta's faces after 98 minutes. -

Satisfaction. Helped massively by Kai Havertz being an absolute massive prick, and Arteta's tears. Listening to the weak ass Arsenal fans on talksport was glorious. Many of our fans go on about Liverpool, for me these lot are worse, a beutiful weekend. -

Most annoying thing about that Havertz challenge, our lads played into the afters, he's a grade A cunt, but our lads should have held it together. -

A lot of shouts for Tino to start, with Tripps switching sides, I'd like them both starting together on the same side covering for each other and rotating that side in attacks, Maybe leave Miggy on the bench, bring him on later for impact, or vice versa with Tino.
