The Europeometerâ„¢ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
mighty__mag replied to Rich's topic in Football
Bit annoying that Villa have way better fixtures in terms of building consistency. Reminds me of us going on an unbeaten run a season or so back. Just wonder if something could change for them if they lost a key player, Martinez, or Watkins. -
That never happened, the browser stayed open, the only time you were physically needing to be on it was to choose seats and pay, 5 mins max. But I've mentioned, it's monotonous going over it, I get people have managers that were dinosaurs or worked in sports direct, personally I'd have gone for an extremely long toilet break,

Understand, and obviously lorry drivers on the motorway couldn't do it. Thing is like you point out someone else could do it for you though, my other half did mine plenty of times, as long as we were roughly in the area we wanted, and we had seats together, it was never an issue. It's a boring debate though, because some lover of the current system will come along moaning, so you can't win, it's what circumstances suited individuals.

It wasn't a ballot weekdays, A first come first serve, why do you think its only people who work at a computer or work at home that could access it? I didn't work at a desk, or from home, I had a phone like literally everyone and left the browser open waiting for the time to access the seating, it really wasn't that tough, and once through took less than 5 minutes. But like you say in the latter bit, it's not easy to please all, I personally liked the older process.

What are you getting at?

It's a bit pathetic to blame day trippers or fans from far and wide, there's 31k in ST holders, them alone can make enough noise, they obviously choose not to bother. It could possibly be the cost of living for some, perhaps they're not as merry before kick off due to the ridiculous prices in alcohol and food these days, we're not all students spunking money away with no bills or mortgages, slipping our parent/s 25 quid a week. It's a daft argument, nobody can really dictate how people need to represent themselves while watching the game. Understandable they've got to cater for all, elderly, young, families, standing singing sections, and somewhere in between. I do however agree, for those that want to locate themselves where they're more comfortable or happy, be it shouting and swearing, or just calm and relaxed enjoying watching how they wish to, then the choice of picking your seat with the previous ticketing system was far superior. Also, do we not need to blame NUST for the bullshit ballot thing? Wasn't it them who suggested it because fans were kicking off about not being able to log-on to the box office at 10am because they weren't allowed to use phones during work or some utterly shite reason.

He smashed the ball like when another player scores and you run in after them and bury it in the open net. Such an aggressive bastard Also, SHHOOOOOT, in Joe's head this is going top bins, ill oblige, hits it so hard it ends up outside the strawberry.

I think Schar is in the top five centre backs in the whole league, I knew he was always quality, but, he's been so poorly managed in his time here, he even knew himself when he gave some surly interviews in the past when we were playing terrible, he could have thrown the towel in or left, I'm so pleased for him and us now, he's an absolute class act.

True, but they have literally just been thrown together, reminds me of Forest last season. They don't seem to have a core of original players or players that have played together for a number of years. Their new owner literally thought he was on FM just searching wonderkids. -

Great performance from us, we were never going to take our foot off the gas, whereas Chelsea just gave up. -

Refs an absolute shithouse, slightest little sniff of a touch on a Chelsea player, whistle straight to lips.
