There was a report not so long ago that Rafa's start at Real Madrid was exactly the same as Zidane's for games and CL wins. Players with too much fame and money dont want to be managed, they want to be told how great they are.

Well this didnt last too long

Have to say he does seem to have a canny knack of nicking the ball from defenders in their half.

Newcastle United 0-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers - post-match from pg. 17

If you change a team after you win 6-0 obviously some of the players wont have the same momentum. It drove some Liverpool fans crazy, it probably will with us as well. But the number one goal is promotion, doesn't really matter how we achieve it as long as we do it. -

I suppose it gives Rafa an excuse to make more changes and bring new players into the team on Tuesday. I judge each game as it comes, Im not a huge fan of changing things for the sake of it but Iv also never managed a team to a league or champions league win. Rafa said he would make mistakes and we will just have to live with it. Roll on Tuesday. -

of course. You'd think we were headed for another relegation the way some carry on. You win and people are happy, you lose and they are not. Its a fact of life and people dont agree with certain things, thats football isnt it? all about opinions. -

As much as I love Rafa I can see his rotating of players driving me crazy in the end. -

Looks like he is having difficulty breathing just from walking to his seat. Is he pinned against the wall? -
According to one website Ladbrokes are offering- 500/1 for Newcastle to actually win the Premier League in the 2017/18 season. 100/1 to compete in the group stage of the Champions League in 2018/19 250/1 for Benitez to win the tournament as Newcastle manager. They wont give nothing away will they? absolutely shocking odds.

I feel as if I may have ruined the moment of having such a great bloke in charge of our club.. My apologies. Cannot wait until the next game though.

From NUFC website There was a feeling Newcastle were previously signing players to use the Club as a stepping stone to bigger clubs, is that no longer the case? "The main thing is that the Club is in control and we are signing players who are right for this Club and for our Championship campaign. It cannot be the other way around. We are only interested in bringing players to Newcastle who want to work hard for the Club and the team; not players who want to be at another club maybe next year or the year after. We are not a stepping stone, we are Newcastle United. Every player should be honoured to wear the shirt of this Club. They should feel the same passion that the fans feel, then you have a great relationship between the players and the supporters in the stadium. It is magical when that happens and it can help us achieve great things together."
