Read somewhere that people at the club like McClaren as a bloke.. it could be nothing more than Charnley saying look Steve we're going to look elsewhere and him saying he will keep us ticking over until that happens. Lack of information from the club has lead to speculation and panic It could also be we try and fail to bring someone in and he stays
-
A very short list implies if they tell us to ferk off we're stuck with McClaren.
-
Some lad on Tw@tter claims Cisse says Steve aint getting sacked.
-
It's sensible to have someone already lined up before sacking. No need to be in a hurry now and then panic for the next 2-3 weeks to appoint someone. Then they say "We tried but couldnt get it over the line"
-
If they sack McClaren I'm fully expecting an underwhelming replacement. It's what they do. I'm scared about who they are going to get in. I'd genuinely take Sir Bobby via Derek Acorah over most of the names suggested so far. Or a cardboard cut out of Kevin Keegan
-
Maybe they gave him a kickin and threw him in the boot.
-
He has a driver. A manager who has been sacked doesnt usually hold training sessions one would think.
-
Pete Graves @PeteGravesSky Steve McClaren is 100% still at #nufc training ground
-
I will be gutted if we end up Pearson.. the bloke is a fruit cake.
-
They're hoping the heat will die off so they can try and spin their way out of it. Obviously dont want to get rid of McClaren and are dragging the heels, it is proper amateur hour with this lot.
-
I'm sure he lives in Yarm. Yes but he is from Fulford in York
-
York is McClarens home town isnt it? A bit strange you would have a meeting without the manager in his home town
-
I've heard he's been sacked on Twitter. In real life, not so much. Real life is where it counts I'm afraid.

A lot of people saying they've heard McClaren has been sacked on Tw@tter

He is absolutely clueless, if he cant see its his tactics then he needs fired out of a catapult into a brick wall.

Steve McClaren “It is a problem (picking up points away from home) we have had all season, it is down to the way we play, we tend to play on the front foot. “Which is good when you are at home, but away we have been exposed, and haven’t ground out enough results. “If two or three of our away games had been draws then we would have ground out a few more points and we would be in a slightly better situation. “It is something we need to address because we can’t afford to rely on our home form because then the pressure on those games will just become too much. “In our home games we are starting to get a consistency in our performance and the way we play. “We need to start transferring that to our away games and picking up points away from home, we owe it to the fans.” Ehm.. is it not more of a problem we lets teams especially out of form have all the possession away from home?? -

Anyways as long as McClaren doesnt bollox his tactics up too much I reckon we could take something tomorrow. Going 1-2 to the Toon. -

Given our sit back and play for a draw bullshit I'm not surprised he hasn't either. I agree its crazy.. giving teams who are not doing very well all the possession is asking for trouble. But I still think every player needs a reminder once in a while. It probabaly wont happen anyways... I just think Perez and Mitrovic will cause Chelsea more trouble tomorrow. -

Id drop him for the fact he hasnt looked like scoring away from home.. bring him on in the second half. -

------------------Elliot------- Janmaat--Mbemba--Colo--Colback --------Shelvey------Tiote------ Sissoko----Perez----Townsend --------------Mitrovic--------------- As people are already aware Wijnaldum has not been so shiit hot away from home, so Id drop him as a little reminder. Perez to push up closer to Mitro in attack and drop back a little when we are on the defensive.
