The 15 I’d choose to retain are: No. Position Player 1 Slovakia GK Martin Dúbravka 3 Wales DF Paul Dummett (3rd captain) 5 Switzerland DF Fabian Schär 6 England DF Jamaal Lascelles (captain) 7 England FW Andy Carroll 10 France MF Allan Saint-Maximin 11 Scotland MF Matt Ritchie 14 England MF Isaac Hayden 18 Argentina DF Federico Fernández 19 Spain DF Javier Manquillo 20 France DF Florian Lejeune 23 Austria MF Valentino Lazaro (on loan from Inter Milan) 24 Paraguay MF Miguel Almirón 36 England MF Sean Longstaff 43 England MF Matty Longstaff Carroll? It was a genuinely tough call. I took out Jetro because we would have to sign a left back he’s had a serious injury and I’m not sure if he is truly a left back. It was then a straight choice between Carroll and Joelinton, and I just felt that we had no strikers with PL experience. Fit and surrounded by good players and with good nous in this league I felt I’d back Carroll (and be more economical in the process) Carroll is never fit though, he really is a waste of a shirt with his constant injuries. Joel while he's been pap, will improve if given a chance with same better players around him imo, Carroll is heading only one way. If it was a choice between either of them, I'd go with Joel.

I've got so many shirts in drawers, I'm definitely copying that lads idea, that's mint.

Neither did Rafa like, i couldn't care less where he lived. As long as the manager was at training and the games, he could live on the moon for all i care. Please be Rafa.

More like walking into a club and trying it on with the same worldie who pied you the night before. "Tommorow, lads, tommorow she said she would shag me... I mean come on why wouldnt she?" Aye, that's better

This thread is like walking into a pub and going up the hardest bloke in there, and getting the shit kick out of you. Then just doing it all again the next day. It's going to happen, we just have to be patience and the end of the fat wanker will arrive.

Plot twist, it's actually you going mental ala Beautiful Mind. Can't be, my mind is a disgrace
-
Just sitting back and reading this thread, it's watching a dozen or so people go slowly mental
-
Rafa, he knows what we want and need as a club, and knows how to get it done. Also, a fantastic bloke.

I have been thinking about this and I can't see how the Premier League can block the deal. It would be a diplomatic shit storm. Don't worry mate, there's some sound advice about that if you read a million pages back.

I see everything is going swimmingly

Life was a simpler place when we only had The Pink & Ceefax.....oh and on the train Darlo to Shildon, down the bog onto the tracks went the undies Hehe Ceefax

It's a multiple month job when the world was normal, let alone with the biggest unimaginable crisis facing the entire world. So the takeover isn't done within a time that can vary wildly, the twitter know fuckalls start shitting their knickers, it starts a feeding frenzy of divvies Just chill and it'll be all OK, soon enough with just a little patience.

I'm so glad I'm still working, at least I can concentrate on something else and pass some time.

Hang on, then you got in a car with a stranger ? It was after a game of football. You got in a car with a sweaty man you didn't know, just because you ran around a bit with him. Well this is really isn't a good health and safety thing like I thought it was from a couple of weeks ago when Neesy said he'd never met Wullie and Wullie said "you gave me a lift once". Sorry mate i missed it, that's quite funny if that's it

I think the latter but I'm just aware that posters have felt like it is a clique and has driven them away. I was just highlighting to them how that could be perceived. All I did was to suggest that there can be some bias in the press depending on reporters own views. I ended up being portrayed as someone who thinks every negative article is due to an agenda. Not everything is black and white. I'll step away from this discussion now. As I think I made my point quite clearly. If others read that as something else that's on them. I agree with with both of you really, that's always been a slight problem though, more so on a forum. You can't be in both camps in some eyes, when in reality you can. Just don't take it to heart and it's not personal, we're just daft prats, talking about daft things on a daft forum.
-
Nah mate, we're the nerds looking at the handsome rich kids
-
Clique, or Posters who've been on here for years, so know each well over time, they become rather attuned to each other and tend to agree more on certain things?
-
Aye, we're shit when looking in the right direction
-
Don't believe me if you don't want to. Makes no odds to me mate. McClaren was sounded out about the NUFC job long before he took it. Wanna put £200 on it, charity of your choice? Go on, get him HTT.

A lot of stuff has been frustration, as fan base we've been torn as to whether we follow the team, watch from afar or walk away altogether because of the fat turd. God forbid a decision a parent has to make about taking their young un's to the football, to get them into it. It's been a reflection of that divide on here imo, hopefully that should change imminently.
