Ritchie, Hayden, Diame, the pursuit of Knockaert all players promoted and/or know how to get to the top of the Championship. Not exactly rocket surgery but good stuff.

I remember him giving us all sorts of problems in a home game, might have been for West Ham, he was running at us with pace and directness and we couldn't deal with him.

That's just ex player forrin bollocks. Even when you play at the lowest level, man marking the best header stops his momentum, i'm not big but i always mark one of the best headers, i have good leap but i try to stop my man getting a clear run and header and that's how it should work. A player does the Shearer position zonally marking the near post (not on the post, 5 or so yards in front of it), someone always around the penalty spot/edge of the area. Our team Saturday team uses both, we have someone doing the Shearer position and the penalty spot, we don't have anyone on the back post as we have one zonal marker in the middle of the 6 yard box, if the ball is clearing him, his job is to then get on the far post. Then you mark the bigger players man for man. For me that's the best, a mix of both.

That's exactly how it should be, a mix of both.

Not for me, you can pick out certain times when either are better, any said game will show one to be better than another. Call me old school but if marking a player is my job, that's my job, zonal is much more vunerable imo. Although man to man is too if your players are not good either to be fair, hence why you buy better ones. I think a mix of man to man and zonal is far better and i think Rafa did a bit of that last season.

The guy seemed disinterested all game. All i know is, he's a poor defender, he simply doesn't sniff danger and plays like a attacking wing back than a defensive right back. In todays game i know you have to do both but he's so poor on the part he should be best at.
-
Zonal marking an all, it was how Liverpool under Rafa were vunerable at set pieces. Not a fan of zonal me, zonal marking is too static and opposition players a have a run on you. Much prefer a bit of both, Shearer used to stand on the edge of the 6 yard box and head away bucket loads of corners.

Janmaat's header for their second goal I know i'll head this....hmmmm let me think....i know my own penalty spot. You're a defender you lovely haired fuckwit.
-
Fuck him. He's a monumental idiot for going there and deserves his career ruined choosing to play for a fraud like pards when he could've been learning from a proven winner like Benitez. Absolutely no mercy
-
Working on deals was the main thing he said for me, suddenly i seem to love waiting on transfers.

Mbabu, Mbemba, Darlow, Mitro and we still have Tiote, Sissoko and Krul among others.

No leaders to two CB's who both lead. I like this a lot.

Yes. where? A bint with a wonky phone.
-
didn't he do the same last season with his GK when things were going wrong for him, just started blaming the GK in every interview. Of course he did it's Pardew after all. To be honest i wouldn't be surprised if he blames the school holidays for todays defeat
-
The new one? Nah Speroni..
-
SSN....Pardew furious with the GK, that's the GK thrown to the wolves
-
Bet it was the orcs fault.
-
There's a fucking stream for Norwich v Hannover ffs, we get a daft bint who doesn't know how to hold a fucking phone right. It's 2016

Mbabu getting his fitness, Haidara ? (i'll give you a guess)

Left. Is he playing well there? Would be class if he can actually perform there and we manage to sign Knockaert. He's spent most of his career playing down the left, but i do think Rafa likes the inverted winger opposite flanks stuff (which i think is shit). Ritchie can do that to, he's just a very good fotballer.
