  1. What type of player is he? A CM in the sort of Kante mould?
  2. Not only is he absolutely clueless, but the bloke is a bell end of the highest order. Him and Wraith.
  3. It was journos that broke the story to the public in first place , you can't just lump them all together like they're all Lee Ryder. Think he's referring to Edwards and his proper weird tweet earlier.
  4. This apparently. https://twitter.com/tfMichael1892/status/941383314979647494 The bloke knows absolutely nothing. Him and Wraith are embarrassing themselves.
  5. I wonder what the police said. https://twitter.com/PaulWatson10/status/941386032771223552
  6. What if we finish bottom with him this year wont you deem that as a failure and who would be to blame?? You could give f***ing Guardiola or any manager in football this squad and they'd still struggle. Everyone knew how much of a slog this season would be given Ashley's intervention in the summer. If you want to chuck the towel in, go ahead. 40 years of watching NUFC has made me well aware that a big kick in the nuts is only around the corner. After last seasons highs the summer and reality was that kick in the nuts. Lets all be honest here the likelihood now and from what we have seen is that come august we again will be a championship team. Everyone is talking about money and players signed in January we tried that previously and still went down sometimes the damage is already done by then, also the quality of player is not going to want to come to a team in the bottom 3 who potentially could be playing championship football in 6 months time ( see Andros Townsend for this) We have lost to both of the teams that were promoted with us and to a fair few teams around us, if im being honest theres no way I can see this squad/team hitting 40 points or winning 10 plus games it is in effect the same one that lost 10 games in the championship last season sprinkled with a few very poor additions Steve McClaren being manager for two thirds of the season sent us down that year. He should've gone after Chelsea away or Everton away which would've allowed Benitez plenty more time to work with the players. If we gave Rafa £80m like we did to McClaren that year this season we wouldn't be where we are, because Rafa Benitez is not the problem, as you've been implying heavily with your recent posts. The bottom half of the league is still tightly packed together. Despite this awful run we've been on we're 3 points off 11th. Yes, no one can see where our next win comes from, I can't either, but there's a law of averages and we'll pick up a win soon. It's going to be a horrid, turgid season. Like I said before, if you think we're definitely down, there's no chance of staying up, throw the towel in.

  8. Spot on, Yorkie. No idea why some mongs amongst our fanbase can't get their head around this.
  9. Would take Belotti. Swap deals aren't really a thing though. I think he was joking No chance we'd get Belotti Ah, right. And aye no chance we'd get him in January.
  10. Would take Belotti. Swap deals aren't really a thing though.
  11. I think Douglas is alright, just his shit teasing before team news is irritating. Best ones are Caulkin, Hope, Downie, Hardy and at a push Douglas.
  12. Didn't he already go on holiday? Aye, after the meeting over the curry. Remember reading somewhere that he's back. Luke Edwards' charisma and knowledge about the takeover is about as existent as hairs on his head.
  13. Going to make another meaningless predicton that by the time we play Burnley (h) on transfer deadline day, it'll be done and dusted. Obviously PCP have hopefully by then stuck some money in for transfers.
  14. If we go down he deserves to be sacked...infact if we lose the next 3 he deserves to be sacked as losing 10 from 11 games is a sackable offence So he is impregnable is he?....He will be on Carver esque runs of losing whenw e lose the next 3 and if Pardew or McLaren or the licking man had them runs they would be crucified But oh no its rafa so he isn't to blame Mong.
  15. If we go down he deserves to be sacked...infact if we lose the next 3 he deserves to be sacked as losing 10 from 11 games is a sackable offence Who would you bring in then, should we lose the next 3 games, 2 of which are against Arsenal and Manchester City?
  16. I really don't think it's that bad. 3 players of quality would transform the team IMO. Everyone looks 50% worse at the moment because of form. Obviously we need much better players longer-term, but that's a different issue. Meant longer term if we stay up, didn't communicate that well. In January I'd be delighted with Batshuayi on loan, a LB, and a CM that can screen and protect the defence instead of letting runners past him, and can play a bit of football when he needs to. A GK is an absolute must as well. We need a bit of surgery basically. Last night opened my eyes to just how poor we are.
  17. I said in the relegationometer thread, we practically need a new team. Only players worth holding on to that we currently have imo are Merino, Yedlin, Lascelles and Murphy.
  18. He would have scored 14 in last nights team I can see how his zero goals this season could have brought you to that conclusion I'm just so giddy with the prospect of some decent transfer cash burning a hole in our pockets, we got beat last night but I'm still happy with the shots that hit the post.
