https://twitter.com/markcurry26/with_replies What a f***ing mong. Was tempted to reply to his tweets but not going to bother, he has to be a blatant WUM. "If this was Pardew there'd be he'll on", "he's taking us down" ffs. People like that deserve Pardew and Ashley.

I'd be happy with just Batshuayi on loan tbh. Anything else is a huge bonus.

Wrong thread. It’s not a loan deal so I think it’s very relevant to this thread. For what it’s worth I think this is a done deal now.. the curry house thing was how Mike Ashley would insist on a deal being wrapped up. The players we’ve been linked with seem to suggest that the agents are expecting we'll have a wad of cash to spend too. The process of applying to the FA for it’s fit and proper has probably begun. It’s not like they’re going to be live tweeting about it. They have a budget in place, good players lined up and they won’t be hanging around to sign them. No other way Rafa would be so calm throughout the current run we’re having.. the shoddy players probably know their days are numbered which has probably added to the dip in form.

I do think Lascelles being out has played a huge part in that. Would we have looked so tragic at the back against Watford if he was playing? Against Leicester? Against Man Utd and Chelsea? (we probably would've done against those 2 teams, they're miles ahead of us) Would we have conceded that late header against Bournemouth if Lascelles was on the pitch? The answer is probably not, we'd probably be 2-4 points better off. Who would've foreseen him being so important prior to the season starting.

Manchester United (h) will definitely be moved. Wonder if they'll complete the south coast trio and shift Bournemouth (a) to a ridiculous time as well.

Aye. I guess that depends on who we can bring in to replace him. For example, if we sell Mitrovic and bring Sturridge in on loan for example, i'd say that's probably good business. I am praying for Batshuayi on loan. Will improve us no end. I'll probably go as far as saying that if we got him we definitely won't go down.

Aye, usually don't mind Alex as he has decent patter and isn't an utter twat, but that statement was absurd. Because Colback apparently has "PL experience". Utter garbage.

Selling him to a relegation rival would be fucking daft.

Win. Please. Can't bear the thought of Fat fucking Sam beating us.

Where is that from? Would have him in a heartbeat. The Sun.

Really need to ditch this 4-4-2. Leaves us far too open because we don't have the players for it. Imagine if we played against Liverpool playing that formation. Need to return to 4-2-3-1 and being resolute. Almost everything post Burnley has been pretty shit.

Another turd signing. I’m genuinely interested, who do you think we should get as a manager? Howay man, criticising a signing doesn’t equate to wanting the manager out! It does in this case. U2's been telling us in most match threads for 2 seasons that Rafa's not good enough. U2 won't give an answer because he's a blatant WUM, just like Chris Babalooba.

The clocks in the corners have been shifted to next to the dugouts, and new advertising hoardings have been put in, all electronic now, which now have stuff on the back of them.

Aye, heard it a few times. One bloke, clearly p*ssed, season ticket for 30 years, used to play at a decent standard yada yada was particularly upset and said the players are clearly not being coached because none of them can whip a ball in. To be fair he did recognise that we have a Championship team when pointed out to him and that Ashley is the main culprit, but Rafa has to go he said. I haven’t been to a game all season and rarely go to the Town for a drink so it came as a bit of a surprise to hear some dissent from match day going folk and although I should know better, some of the moaning in the East stand surprised me too. We unfortunately have a decent proportion of relentless mongs to level headed fans, both at SJP and on social media. How anyone can say that, pissed or not, is beyond me. Yesterday kinda showed how ignorant some of the fans are. The classic 'if this was Pardew/Carver/McClaren' line despite the circumstances of those three Clampets being incomparable to the one this season, 'these are his signings' even though he didn't want the vast majority of the players we brought in during the summer. We needed bodies and we have what we have because of that. Plus many more.

'he needs to go' Fucking hell, man.

Aye, thought he was decent like. Was taking on and going past players during breaks on a couple of occasions. Haven't seen any of the game back and don't intend to, but it didn't look like to me he can be blamed for the own goal, he had to at least try and get a foot to it due to Clark's lack of awareness and leaving of Okazaki, unluckily it went in off his attempted block.
