Rubbish. He's being given the opportunity to show what he can do at this level when he probably wouldn't even make the bench here once everyone is fully fit. I think there's potentially a very good finisher in this lad but he has to show he can do it before we will take any chances. He got 18 goals in league 1 last season and didn't get any kind of chance this season. We're probably going to get promoted this year and it will be the exact same situation again. Doubt he'll ever get a real chance barring an injury crisis at some stage in the future If we are promoted and have top class strikers playing for us instead then why does it even matter? If Rafa thinks he is good enough he would be playing

Looking back most our signings have been a total disgrace. If we spent even half the money we have over the last 3 years or so wisely with somebody who knows about football making the decisions we would never of been near relegation

Very overhyped as he is local. We have seen how good our youth players and signings have been over the last 5 years or so. We are aiming to be a top half premiership team again soon. We need better than Adam Armstrong for that

Exactly that. I would never call him lazy. He always seemed to be trying his best and driving us forward and making charging runs. He really just isn't that good at all though

Carroll was scoring in the championship at not much older than Armstrong. Vardy has always banged goals in he just started at a non league club rather than a premiership academy. If he is going to be good enough to be a premiership striker then surely he should do well in the championship this season or will he be another chopra/ Adam Campbell etc
