I think the issue is people asking the same questions over and over again. There's only so many times you can answer.

He more or less said as much in the last Athletic podcast. Basically saying he won't be reporting anything until the money has been transferred.

Yes, from a post originating from our mate Gallowgate End[/member]

You’d assume we wouldn’t be allowed to play these smaller lower league teams that don’t qualify for testing...
-
As an aside, cancelling your direct debit doesn't get your money back that you've already paid out and should be refunded.

Looks like they'll announce them after the next meeting on Thursday.

Quarter Finals: June 27-28th Semi Finals: July 18th-19th Final: August 1st

To be honest mate, if you don't need the money right now, I would wait. They will refund us eventually (even if the takeover didn't go through). You don't want to do anything that could effect your ST renewal or anything. I know it shouldn't but....

So that’s official confirmation of BCD for the rest of the season....

.com has this: Update: The Mail newspaper claim that Wembley Stadium has been cleared to host both the FA Cup Semi-Finals and Finals this season if they can be played - obviously behind closed doors. Earlier: In parallel to restart plans for the unplayed segment ofthe 2019/20 Premier League season, similar talks to conclude the FA Cup are in progress - aided by the fact that the remaining eightsides are all from the current top flight. From what we can gather, the following four Quarter Final ties willbe played in midweek once the PL restarts in June: Sheffield United v Arsenal Newcastle United v Manchester City Norwich City v Manchester United Leicester City v Chelsea The four winners will then play Semi Final ties on consecutive midweek nights in early August, with the Final pencilled in for Saturday August 8th and midweek semi-finals shortly before that. All FA Cup ties will take place behind closed doors and transmitted live (with BT and BBC sharing the rights).

Season was supposed to start in February, obviously hasn't, and as yet there's no confirmed start date.
-
Well, yes and no. I mean they obviously will be, but they haven’t confirmed when or where at, so officially no announcement has been made.
-
Whenever the day comes it should forever be known on this forum as Jinky Jim[/member] day.

I think once the games are officially announced as bcd/voided they’ll put out something about refunds. Of course it would have been helpful if they’d just said this was the case two month ago...

Not even some Donnay socks.

Oliver seems to have a very low threshold for something being ‘classy’... Not to say it’s not obviously the right thing to do by Everton, it’s just that they’ve probably only done something that will become inescapable in a week a or so.

Rafa had the walls painted.

If you want positivity, listen to the podcast with Kieran Maguire that’s been posted in the other thread.
-
Think Maguire summarises pretty well, without really offering anything new. You can’t help but feel positive after listening IMO.

Probably a good example of why .com rarely offer an opinion on speculation. Even here where they’ve obviously been tipped off by someone they trust, it still hasn’t come through as expected.

Waugh's article this morningabout signing the keeper from Motherwell suggests everything is still on track.

Aye I’ve no examples but defo over last few years they’ve put up what they ‘understand’ and it’s been wrong. Disagree there. Certainly in recent times. what have they said that’s right in recent terms? Again my memory is shit for examples but I’m sure there was something about a previous takeover and a previous managerial appointment that was both wrong. Doesn’t really matter in any case. Of course I hope they are right That's the thing, they don't really say much in terms of their own opinions. Obviously they'll have reported the last 'takeover' and relaid what the press were reporting, but that's what they do generally. As I say, they very rarely go out on a limb like this, almost saying they've been told something directly.
-
I honestly can't think of any recent examples of this being the case? They just hardly use terms such as "we understand". They very rarely claim to be any kind of ITK these days.
