Eddie needs to change this. Also where's the leadership? Normally see our players far more vocal . The big characters are too quiet . -

That's just shite defending. Also if we keep giving teams chances they'll take them . We're so slack at the back compared to a two seasons ago. Needs a big improvement. -

When we're defending set plays why aren't leaving at least one up (Isak for example) as the out ball? Pulling everyone back . -

Hall's positioning means he's not ready. In attacking phases he's just staying up there often meaning Joelinton's having to come over and tuck into the space or cover. It's killing our midfield. -

Much like the others games this season though we're not controlling the game at all. Purely playing on the counters -

This is the midfield we're hoping will start to push us on. The level of Tonali's reading of the game compared to when Longstaff's playing (especially considering how long he's not played for) is superb. He's got that special midfielder gift of always seeming to be in a bit of space when we're attacking. -

Tonali's the night is absolutely everywhere. -
You can't put "pleading" in quotes without quoting the source.

Bayern makes sense as a move for him, German football is a little slower than here and of course is pal Kane is there. We also have to make room for players to grow into the position . A season in the team could do wonders for Livramento and therefore us . Trippier's still got real quality but he's not going to improve, he's thirty four next month and at times has shown his legs and decision making are on the wane.
-
Never again. He's Championship at best, his better games last season were when he was employed as a sort of wing back. Offered nothing , at least Miggy would have protected Livramento more. We have to upgrade this position if we're being ambitious.
-
If we're not bringing in a right winger should be Barnes left , Gordon right. Can't see Murphy there, offered less than nothing.

Played shit got a point. Lots of work needed at the club from the coaching pitch to the boardroom. We'll see how ambitious we are in these next few days -

You know it's a bad day when Bruno's first touch is off like. -

It's his first start and he's a centre half playing at full back in a team that's struggling to get it together -

One thing we've done for a long time under Howe that I don't recall us doing when our away form was far better , is that when we've had an attacking set play and the balls cleared, we never put it straight back in. We nearly always retreat to halfway in attempt to retain possession, then it breaks down and the opposition get in or we're forced to go back to Keeper who then goes long. When we had Wilson up top he could work off the odd long ball but it doesn't suit Isak at all . -

Eddie need to get into these at half time . Few just not giving the effort. Need to be braver with and without the ball -

We've dropped right off after a decent start. Several players don't look on it. Gordon's playing like he doesn't want the ball . Murphy's giving us nothing. The middle of the park looks very disjointed. -

Gordon and Murphy don't look at the races here -
There'll be movement. It may be late in the window and PSR wise we need to move some on but we've proven time and again we're not just focused on the one target for a position. We've not completely revamped the structure to do no business. Also whenever anyone starts a new job they tend to want to put their own stamp on things. Mitchell will want to make an impression in his first window. We'll be fine .
-
In a good few years when he hasn't got the legs to get up and down the park as much I think he'd make a cracking centre half.

Nothing like our beloved Newcastle United to get the blood flowing again after the summer. They should give valium out at the club shop .
