That's fine. However people on here will verify my feelings towards Emery. He showed his bottle or rather lack of it by taking his name out the hat for the Newcastle job. He obviously didn't want possible relegation to smear his cv. I also personally think he's way overrated.

Not at all. That performance was absolutely rubbish. We have praised the team when necessary but there is nowt wrong with slagging them off when poor. The team were shite tonight!

I think the lack of press was purely down to having ten men. I honestly thought they were the correct subs at the time and actually thought we could get another couple of goals with the pace Eddie brought on. However with ten men then it was going to be a struggle. I think we have to give Southampton credit also for changing their shape and pushing further up the pitch.

I honestly think that's the best first half of football from Newcastle that I have seen in a long long time. I agree with with samp here. Southampton have worked well but we are too good for them.

If the players are that religious why don't they do their praying or crossing themselves in private? Why does it have to be in front of tens of thousands of strangers. Who was that Man Utd arsehole that would literally drop to his knees and raise his arms to the heavens right just before kick off? "Look at me everybody".

You see when people use this as an argument for preferring Pickford for England makes absolutely zero sense. Let's say Pickford has three or four shocking performances for his club (which happens regularly) then has a great game in England's next game, is he undroppable because of his one good performance? Does that mean Pickford can have an awful season for Everton but still retain his international place because "he's great for England"? It makes a mockery of the selection process if that's the case.
