Nobody is "piling on". I have already said that I am the first one to defend Maxi. However, his display on Friday was shocking. Yes ..... shocking.

You must be so naive. Of course Eddie would hot come out and slag him off. Eddie Howe is the utmost professional. He's not lying, he's being cute and clever. No matter your love in with Maxi, he was woeful on Friday and the suggested "hamstring" was a get out by the coaching staff.

I remember Bruce being interviewed after the game and he was asked if the Christmas tree formation was his idea and he was totally perplexed. He eventually stumbled the words "I will let you lot make your own minds up". He was obviously clueless as to what the Christmas tree was and as always rude and snarling to the interviewer.

We won 2-1 last night and I should be happy. However I am still fuming about the Anderson disallowed goal. It's almost as if the officials have said "right, how do we disallow this". They took an age to scrutinise what was a perfectly executed goal and yet couldn't be bothered to glance at the shirt being dragged off Andersons back that would have led to a penalty.

Please, please watch it again. Jimenez has tried to con the ref (and has been successful with you) that he has been fouled. I used to play centre forward and probably would have done similar (cough). Wrong! To make it clear, and I'm sticking my head out here. Those that think it's a penalty, in my opinion have not played a game of football. What Jimenez has done is con you. He's made it look like he's been fouled (which is clever .... or cheating). Whatever your opinion is, then I'm sorry but my opinion is correct. No foul by Pope, no penalty and if anything a free kick to Newcastle. There, sorted.

Agree with most of those points, however I'm struggling with the love in for Murphy. Totally and absolutely average, like he has been for the past 4 or 5 years.
