Oh of course but it terms of current ownership and plans for each club I’d rather be in our situation. They seem very much like a club that could take years to fix from top to bottom.

I guess the "bigger" you are to start off with, when it starts to unravel,  the more costly the repair.

You look at these lot, Barca, PSG,  Chelsea. Varying problems within each but, dear me, obscene amounts of coin been thrown at them.

I think it's a stark warning to any ambitious club, us included, that money spent needs to be well spent. Even looking at how Howe (?)  came in to a club that had spent fuck all and galvanised an embattled squad.

Could any manager replicate that with the Man U squad?  Is it harder with the higher earner, higher profile players.

There's lots of examples of owners losing huge sums trying to be successful. Ellis Short down the road for one. Tried his best tbf.

Football is so fucked up like ????

With growing up watching Man U dominate throughout almost my entire childhood I’ve subconsciously always thought of them as this massive club that’ll turn it around. Yesterday was kind of a penny drop moment realising they’re actually done at the elite level now. They’re miles off City and Liverpool and it could take years to fix.

Not wanting to be a sad Sunday morning contrarian but I'd suggest they're still closer than us

  3. Shared that Bob Mortimer' Sunderland song on my RAF WhatsApp and 2 of them (from Leicester & Telford) agreed "everywhere's got a Sunderland,  our's is Stoke"

Told them they're playing each other on the 20th

"be like a scene from Shaun of the Dead"

    came the reply.

Ps Telford Dave's a Villa fan.

Trepidation and excitement in equal measure. Be a nightmare if we got a filmmaker/director with an axe to grind.

I love him but I hope it's not Ken Loach ?

Wonder how they prepare a premier league pitch with the hose pipe pan. Presuming it includes them as well..?

They'll get all our supporters on the pitch before the kick off.

Give them all a 2ft square section each then announce on the tannoy that Forest have signed ANOTHER player.

The tears will freshen the grass up lush

They actually have a thread "Anyone bothered"

If only it was the Pizza Cup.
