Come on Spurs.
-
A Man City vs Liverpool final would be the worst possible final.
-
It sounds like lazy reporting from what other newspapers were reporting. I think we can and should do better than signing Cairney though I could see Gayle moving to Fulham in the summer.
-
If PSG are not careful they will only win the league by 20 points.
-
I get that we have to move some players on from the Championship season, but we can't afford to sell all the players you have named especially when the likes of Rondon, Shelvey, Hayden, Darlow, Elliot, Kenedy and maybe a couple of our best players will be sold as well in the summer. If we did that we are looking at buying 2 goalkeepers, 3 defenders, 3 centre midfielders, 4 wingers and 3 strikers in the summer which would be a disaster going into next season when you consider how slow the club is doing transfers.
-
If we lost to Leicester I would probably be nervous, but I can't see not getting at least another couple of points from our last few matches and Brighton have awful fixtures as well. Its probably a good thing if we finish lower than 10th last season because it will mean Ashley will build a new training ground which the club desperately needs.
-
Is that Benitez telling Ritchie to leave because if he stays he wants to make changes to the squad or is he giving advice for Ritchie to leave because he won't get the contract he wants by staying at Newcastle. It doesn't sound good for Benitez's future if the club are not even prepared to extend contracts for players nearing 30 years old or over never mind spending money on Rondon because I imagine Benitez is a fan of Ritchie and would like to keep his character in the squad.
-
It wouldn't surprise me if Juventus sacked Allegri, but there is not many exciting managers around I can think of to replace him.
-
Looking at Brighton's fixtures we are probably their only realistic chance of a win which I think they will get.
-
I'm fine with either Spurs or Ajax reaching the final, but I'm desperate for Ajax to win it. It would be great for football when its usually the same elite teams that win it.
-
It must feel like a defeat for Man United.
-
The commentator here in Ireland said he was described as the next Iniesta. Is he that good? Third in line of hype behind de Ligt and de Jong. Been linked with a couple of PL clubs already. I'm sure they would rather keep their squad together, but Ajax will have a lot of money to play with in the summer to rebuild.

What is Messi for comparison?
-
Hes shite.

I hate it when they refer to a player as “star”- proper winds me up “NUFC star Matt Ritchie” etc etc I also hate when their headlines say "according to reports" and it turns out its just one report from The Sun.
-
It probably doesn't count as a pet hate, but it really annoys me how the media use the same words over and over again in their headlines like "player reveals" and "injury blow". Reading Newcastle news alone I probably see it 10 times a day. They are journalists you would think they would have a wider range of vocabulary.
-
I want Liverpool to win the league because I have never seen them win it before and I think it will mean much more to them than Man City who will just shrug it off as another trophy. Man City will probably win it though despite having tougher fixtures left.
-
Real Madrid are desperate for their season to end.
-
Patricio. Wan Bissaka. Lascelles. Maguire. Chilwell. Doucoure. Neves. Gueye. Fraser. Zaha. Jimenez.
-
I have a feeling both Liverpool and Man City will drop points today.
-
He will be back on Talksport soon.

Its nice to have two pundits have a serious debate about Newcastle without resorting to saying Ashley is a great businessman and saved Newcastle. I do disagree with Neville saying Newcastle not being in London is a big disadvantage. Even if we had an ambitious owner it might stop us from serious competing with the big 6, but it doesn't explain why we can't compete with teams we should be competing like Leicester and Everton. These clubs get good managers, buy quality players for big money, pay big wages, upgrade their facilities and overall just do everything they can to make their club more attractive. We have done none of those or even try to be innovative in any way all the club does is plead poverty despite the club earning millions in tv money and shake their heads when people point how bad they are at running the football club.

I think the only team Cardiff can realistically catch is Southampton.
