Hamman, Solano? Even Barnes was good for a season. Not to mention he brought the academy back. Among NUFC managers I rank him comfortably in the middle( maybe sixth?). Going off wiki, he sold for more than he bought so maybe the cash was starting to dry up.

Not sure I agree. Those last few years he had here really cemented his legacy, which has been integral for the clubs identity. Especially wouldn’t have sold him for M’penza.

Sorry for the late reply. Might have been a bit of a knee jerk reaction on my part. But still, I worry in games we don’t control, he’ll be a bit of a problem. He’s made a career from being very clinical. It seems to me, a winger with poor dribbling ability will be easy to to figure out tactically. Hopefully I’m wrong.
