I do think we might go for a top class older player in the same vein as Trippier. Can't imagine his influence on the team has gone unnoticed and that will be doubly important next year when we'll be up against it on multiple fronts.

Always look at this and think it's mad how we're actually about 8 goals away from this season being a title run.

Would have taken a Liverpool win if I'm honest. I really really wanted the team to do it in front of the fans and now they can. If ithappens, Monday night is gonna be amazing. Having another team do it for us kinda cheapens it imo. Bring on Monday.

That is exactly what a lack of confidence can do to a person. A couple inches here and there and he'd have already had a couple goals to his name, which all of a sudden would look like a great return from his limited game time.

He's short on confidence, it's as simple as that. I've seen nothing in his short time on the pitch to suggest he's a bad player or lacks a fundamental quality he's just struggling to get any rhythm. A pre-season away from this sort of scrutiny will do him a world of good.

He's such a good player it seems a shame to limit him to one side of the pitch, especially with not having an overlapping full back who could open up space for him.

Switch to 4231, put Isak in behind Wilson and bring ASM on to mix things up. Joe and Bruno tighter together in the centre to stop Arsenal carving through us.

Absolutely no doubt he'll be a very good player for us. There's only about 5-6 players in our entire squad who have come into the team hit the ground running and I see no reason why Gordon should be the exception to the other 20 odd players. I'm only gonna judge him on his qualities at the moment and he has a lot of exciting ingredients.

Honestly think having an orthodox winger in the team makes such a massive difference to how we play. Goes without saying but it's his place to lose

Was absolutely convinced I wanted to see him in the number 8 role so he got in and around the box more, but seeing him play the number 6 role and dictate the game like he did today just makes me think that I might have it completely wrong.

Still don't think he starts against Spurs. Burn's been pretty good for most the season and whilst he does have games where he'll be poor by the teams high standards, he's still not been consistently poor enough to warrant dropping.
