I don't know why I didn't realise this earlier, but it only just occurred to me that UEFA spending rules serve the exact same purpose as PSR, meaning this runs deeper than just domestic monopoly, it's football that's rigged in it's entirety.

My outside bet is Marcus Thuram
-
There had to be some succession planning beyond Pedro, Ekitike and Sesko?? Surely?! We scouted those players 2 years before they becaome household names. Who are the next strikers who are set to be household in 2 years? Surely we have that list?

Need to go through Romano first
-
This guy will be worth £80m by the end of the season.

If we're linked with Frattesi then it usually means we've looked at someone else at the club too. Marcus Thuram anyone? Been linked with him before.
-
Is Ramos the type of forward who can drop deep and attack space with the ball? That seems to be the profile of Striker we've gone after in Ekitike, Pedro and Sesko. Are there any other players out there like that? I can't only think of Woltemade.

I coming round the the fact that despite the Isak situation being a complete shitshow, the silver lining is the message we send to the big clubs who think they can bully us into submission.

EL Kannous would be as close to perfect signing as we could make for midfield. Prem proven, young, technically brilliant, and for a great price too.
-
He does, yeh but he's played across all front 3 positions and definitely has the quality to play behind the striker and in midfield if needed.
-
What he lacks with his first touch, he makes up with his hold up play. He's also got a couple of caps for Spain so theres clearly something there, although Spain are lacking somewhat in that department. I wasnt keen at first for the same reasons as you, but I think back to all those times Isak was left isolated and wasnt able to hold up the ball and wonder if this guy would add something different and allow us to spring more counters.

This will be our Ekitike/Pedro/Sesko/Huijsen debacle in a couple years time.

I just can't process how there could ever be any scenario where we shouldn't get £150m minimum. The ask of Liverpool is if they dont think £150m is "fair value" then go buy the player who's just as good or better for what they think is "fair value". If they can't, then where is the basis for £150m being unfair other than it being a big number? That message should be emphatically shoved up the arses of Liverpool, Isak and his cunt agent.

This club's cursed, like.

Not against Jackson. His misses have been magnified which makes him look worse than he is, but he's a good player who's done reasonably well in a team that wasn't firing on all cylinders the 2 years he's been there. 34 G/A in 65 games is actually pretty good.
