I don’t get the hatred for Steve Bruce. Yeah he’s a shit manager but I knew that before he took the job. He’s totally irrelevant to what the real problem is. All this bickering just distracts the focus off it.

The Wall Street journal piece has basically disintegrated. First they said advanced talks and a deal could be completed within weeks. Then the celeb friend is brought into the story and the latest is that she brought the deal to the Saudis after meeting Staveley and she couldn’t answer any questions about returns that they asked. And that’s where it was left. Those journalists need to be called out on that. It’s not the daily mail they write for.

I agree with this. I can’t see Norwich, Watford or West Ham picking up many points between now and end of season. Villa should be just safe. We’ll win 3 or 4 more games this season. How I’m not sure but we will. Worst Premier League side to ever stay up comfortably!
