  1. Surely Kinnear to us 'wins' this easily? Kinnear to nufc Pardew to nufc Mclaren to nufc Bruce to nufc And Steve Kean to NUFC in 2022.
  2. Itll be Chopra leaking a load of inside scoops that amount to the sum total of fuckall after he's had a skinful.
  3. He's the kind of player we should have signed ages ago. If we're going to be a functional but quite shit team, we may as well get the right tools for the job. Newcastle haven't been functional since the day Rafa left, and won't be until the day a new owner makes a solid appointment. Newcastle under Mike Ashley have consistently hired managers that do not work with the approach to recruitment. This has always been the issue. Mike Ashley wants one of the boys he can have a pint with as manager. It's ridiculous and annoying, yes, but it could feasibly 'work' if you let them get the type of players that work with their approach. Work in the sense of an Allardyce's Bolton or a Dyche's Burnley who were both European teams, and so it won't be the prettiest necessarily. Under Bruce it shouldn't be quite that ugly hopefully. Don't know why it's been so difficult to just get the basics of allowing the manager to bring in the types of players he wants all of these years. Absolutely crazy stuff. But if you buy the type of players the PFM managers want to work with, there's no resale value in big hard cloggers. I mean they might keep you up, but no club who wants to go anywhere will want to buy them, so Big Mike wouldn't be happy about that. Well, he has to pick his poison. It's been the problem all along. Either go with the preferred recruitment policy and get in a manager that can make it work, or pick one of your pub buddies and give up the idea of young foreign talent and bigger resale values. Guy wants to have his cake and eat it, and it is just a waste of time. He's desperate to get out - more so than ever it seems. He's more than likely sacked off that transfer policy and is instead just opting for the absolute bare minimum investment (more so than normal) to keep our head above water until he finds a buyer.
  4. Scored a canny goal at City and an assist away to Everton, that's about it I think.
  5. We cannot afford Messi. I reckon Adidas might stump up a chunk to see him in an Adidas kit at club level. Would that even be allowed?
  6. Aye, couldn't remember his name. Dale Jennings. Didn't think he signed for them 9 years ago ffs, thought it was 4 or 5 years ago tops. Christ.
  7. Whatever happened to that lad Bayern signed from Tranmere a few years back?
  8. Good idea Thoughts? It'd prove how easy it is. Steve Wraith did it with Floyd Mayweather.
  9. Lazaro signing for gladbach
  10. Or just wanted to give Woodman a new contract.
  11. His forehead is massive and his hair and tattoos are shit.
  12. He's had a solid career, just a disappointing one for me personally. Really thought he should have gone to Man U at the time and played for Fergie. Keane and Scholes were big fans after he trained with them as a school boy and told Fergie they had to sign him. Think he would have come along as more of a forward thinking midfielder there, in the mould of a Pogba, which is more of the player he was as a youngster. Didn't really think there was a place at Chelsea for him to play that role, and he ended up becoming a pretty ordinary holding midfielder stuck under the tutelage of a pretty cynical manager in Mourinho. The article below pretty much details the whole thing. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/968926-john-mikel-obi-at-chelsea-or-the-choice-of-hercules-how-bad-choices-destroy "a disappointing one for me personally" haha
  13. Wey Coutinho is a canny player as well! Players on the way down, not up or at their peak. But still a canny player.
  14. Wey Coutinho is a canny player as well!
  15. Howay ya daft sod. Nothing embarrassing about Muller scoring 2 past you!
  16. Pfffft you reckon?! So fkn safe man, joeyt. Yeah, the clique backing each other like schoolground children. You were saying? Just chill out man fella, ya made a silly comment that you regret making just leave it at that and enjoy yer evening.
  17. Why? He is and has been a very good footballer. Yes, I rate him, too. But as a goalscorer he's not that good. 199 goals for Bayern, 10 World Cup goals. I can think of worse players to be embarassed to concede 2 against In how many games, then? Really clever use of statistics there. Well done. It's not like they've conceded 2 to Tony Hibbert, there's nothing embarassing about Muller scoring twice Okay, but you just concentrate on spelling embarrassing and embarrassed correctly. Made more sense than this At least, unlike you, I don't mind sticking my neck out. You've got the cliques holding your hands and you still mostly only come out with safe opinions. You got the bit right about Barca being embarrassed in the end.
  18. Still got Sane to come into this as well.
