  1. Holy fuck man, EIGHT years since Cisse's double away to Swansea! That is absolutely depressing.
  2. Did we not play Speed wide left when he first came with competition from Stephen Glass? aye we did, i think that was his natural position before Sir Bob moved him centrally as his legs went. Even so - competition for places would have been nice. Dalglish certainly brought in a mixed bag during his time here. https://www.nufc.com/2019-20html/transfers-dalglish.html Certainly would have been a coup to have got Mellberg in, as too Brad Friedel under Keegan. Replacing Robbie Elliott for Pistone was a stinker. Even more so playing him right-back ahead of Watson in the cup final in 98.

  4. I know this is bollocks, but there is literally not a player around that is set up to be a hero at newcastle than Icardi imo Isn't he a proper arsehole? Nicked Lopez's wife or summit in a shitty way. Inter fans hated him aye? Aye he's a nob, but he's one of them that you'd love if he played for you. He fell out with the inter Ultras iirc but he was completely carrying that Inter side, it was due to something he said in his book. Icardi would have been the perfect Rafa CF too. :-/ How? Because Icardi is good and Benitez is good
  5. Couldn't have happened to a bigger doylem.
  6. Steve Watson v Liverpool.
  7. Most likely the club has laid them off and there's no new owners The club would need those people more than ever if there’s no new owners. There's no new owners.

  9. He gave someone the chop for not counting the attendance properly?
  10. Not seen it but nee chance they'll have went back and re-enacted some scenes because Grigg was shite. Donald is purely just out of his depth
  11. Fucking class this like
  12. Imagine the bait would be bland, lack creativity and be route one straight out the microwave. Aye, without a doubt he’s going to get a takeaway every day. Players would be far as f***. He's not head chef material like, washing dishes and that. He knows his level. Imagine his dishes would be dull and lack any sparkle and crack under any sign of pressure.

  14. Simon Jordan would have a right hard-on for the nufc fans if we did sack him.
  15. John Barnes scored a toppa away to West Ham.
  16. He's hardly gonna say, nah it's bollocks the paper I work for prints made up shite, like. He could say his sources have told him different, no? So I wonder who has filed paperwork then - as Craig hope said yesterday that the PL only take notice if the seller approaches them? Aye, I mean it's not happening anyway is it like so who's arsed really?

  18. He was superb the season he was here! Scored a pearler at home to Arsenal too! I had forgot about the Juve goal in the friendly - absolute screamer! Toepunt edge of the box after selling a dummy to one of their defenders.
  19. Don't do it to yourself, Paully. It'll be gutting if Caulkin has put this story out with no substance to back it up. Why didn't he just leave well alone ? He's got links to Staveley - there is no way he'd have penned that article without a lot of belief and inside info that this was happening - he always remains quiet on takeovers so it's a huge thing for me this! What I don't get though is that if the first 'leak' in January supposedly caused problems, why publish this story now? We know that Ashley is vindictive and likely to change his mind on a whim. For the sake of argument, let's say that it is close, why put it at risk by publishing this story? What's to say it doesn't piss Ashley off and he scraps the whole thing. Caulkin has his contacts and probably trusts the info he has. I just don't trust Ashley one iota and therefore don't think that this is happening. Caulkin has said previously that he believes Staveley is genuine based on conversations with her, but couldn't guarantee she was. That's my worry here, that there is a possibility she's been using Caulkin as he's trusted by fans. But for what gain?
  20. Dyer away to Everton in 1999/2000. Dyer away to Soton in the Cup. Shola v Sunderland in the 5-1. Ben Arfa v Villa at home. Gary Speed v Bradford at home. Rob Lee away to Coventry in the game where Given threw it out Dublin. Dietmar Hamann at home Juventus. Bellamy v Villa 01/02 Jenas v West Ham 02/03 Jenas v Man Utd 02/03 Bernard v Rangers 04/05 pre-season
  21. Carl Cort's finish at home to Everton in the 6-2 was underrated.
  22. https://www.warcrypress.co.uk/collections/frontpage/products/every-boys-dream-by-jamie-boyle-steve-wraith-pre-order-may-30th
  23. Robert scored a beauty away to Everton too in the game when Bernard was chopped down by Gravesen. In fact I only remember him scoring 2 tap-ins, home to West Ham on the last game of the season and away to Arsenal in 2003/04.
