  1. Whatever your opinions of Wraith are what is indisputable is that he has contact with Staveley / PCP. The fact Mehdrad Ghodoussi has just appeared on a video he produced should be enough to tell you that. As for people questioning Kennedy as with Caulkin previously he is passing on what he is being told, and is also a fan like the rest of us. Let’s not beat the bloke up as we all want updates, yes have a healthy level of scepticism but for fucks sake this quest to discredit anyone with positive information is a bit much.
  2. As long as they get rid of the current incumbent sharpish none of us will have any complaints.
  3. Without a doubt people arriving in the city by train would be hit straight away with it as they cross river. Also in line with the new American stadiums a big glass window at one end of stadium overlooking river/bridges would be something else. Obviously it would hopefully have a big tiered stand like Spurs now have to create atmosphere, though I love St Jame’s long term this would transform us.
  4. Aye Kennedy said they don’t want to come in through the side door, however I still wouldn’t rule out some changes to the deal to get it through.
  5. It's f***ing ludicrous. He does it every f***ing time, man. He's probably running windows 95 and reading it on netscape navigator too. Ban worthy. Aye I’ve just escaped from Beamish sorry lads.
  6. That’s your lot what a f*** on copying all that. Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 Replying to @CtheDoctor Relegation kills the deal. Saudis aren't having second thoughts about buying the club. 10:20 am · 11 Dec 2020· Ben Carter @CtheDoctor 4h Replying to @LiamJKennedy23 I know that but you said the next two-three games are crucial..you’ve got to remember a lot of people are hanging on that this may go through in time for the January window..the above contradicts that. Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 3h I've not put a timeframe on it. There isn't one. There was hope Jan a few weeks back but this is an ever-changing situation. Impossible to know how, when or if this will break. Paul Palpatine @Magman55 4h Replying to @LiamJKennedy23 and @CtheDoctor In Bruce we trust eh. Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 3h We have to. And I think they will fine. But some extra breathing space over next week would help no end. Show replies PBboss @Telwhi12 3h Replying to @LiamJKennedy23 and @CtheDoctor Ahh Liam, but will the Turkey be cooked in time for Xmas dinner? Lawyer said 3 weeks hard work so that ends Boxing Day, Turkey chips and Pickled onions on Boxing Day would be nice (family tradition) Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 3h Impossible for anyone to say really. I'd suspect this will go into 2021, but that's purely an educated guess.
  7. Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 5h Hard to know really. The weight of evidence is growing, so too is positivity from ALL sides. Craig Elrington @clmandhk 5h Thanks Liam uve been a breath of fresh air through this who saga hope we all get the result we hope for Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 Replying to @clmandhk I hope so, too. Can't say if we will, but those involved think so. 9:42 am · 11 Dec 2020
  8. michael forster @foschops 5h Honestly though do you in your head not your heart actually believe the takeover with the PIF will eventually go through? Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 Replying to @foschops@milesstarforth and @MouthofTynePod I think it has a decent chance. And while buyer has always displayed confidence, seller now on that train too. 9:39 am · 11 Dec 2020
  9. Kennedy’s answer to Easter question - Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 Replying to @NUFC_1980_1994 and @NUFC360 As for third one, if it takes that long then so be it, very few people even those close have control over that. Piece essentially about keeping wolf from the door over festive period, which there is concern about, obviously, as a lot of people have a lot at stake in this deal.
  10. Apologies in advance but my I phone updates f***ed my ability to copy tweets. More follow up from Kennedy to this morning’s article. Important to note for those that ridicule buyers confidence, according to Kennedy it’s not just the buyers who are confident. NUFC 1980-1994 @NUFC_1980_1994 2h 1. You say (about delivering) during the piece "we don't know" yet state "takeover turkey is close to being cooked." Can you elaborate? 2. You say Ashley is working hard to get it done but fail to confirm what he's doing. Can you elaborate? 3. Are Easter eggs on standby? Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 2h Been in oven since May 19 for context. There's renewed positivity from both sides. Could come out oven perfect, or burnt to a crisp. I, personally, can't predict which, although I do have my own opinion. MA is the one in driving seat re action, contact w/ PL via legal channels. Dean Dodds @DeanDodds2 · 2h In your opinion liam which way do you think this goes? Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 2h The people who matter are confident, so I am hopeful. Ethan Common @Ethcommon 1h That’s enough for me. I’ve always been confident because the buyers have been confident. Liam Kennedy @LiamJKennedy23 Replying to @Ethcommon @DeanDodds2 and 2 others It's not just the buyers.
  11. Is it actually being built? The market for commercial real estate is on its arse. Whatever the use- retail, office, student housing- all have taken an absolute beating. Yeah Radisson red hotel has been given go ahead. I agree we will need to relocate and Castle Leazes is still the best and only city centre site now viable. I can’t see a problem with relocating to Castle Leazes, of course there’ll be nimbys but with Leazes Terrace opened up and St James used to create a new and usable park it could benefit the whole city. There is another site available now which is where the newcastle arena is as that is closing in a couple of years. it has lots of land round and it and is a brown field site so would get through planning unlike castle leazes which i still think would be blocked. I agree the arena site would be fantastic for a new stadium, however I think the below development may put pay to this. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/homes-built-quayside-west-approved-19316403 still room on the arena site and car park for a super stadium Hope your right I think it would be a great site with close links to city centre, and would actually be quite spectacular with the right design in that location. Potential to be even fucking colder in winter, but I’m sure the Saudi’s will install heated seats to account for that.
  12. I agree it would be nice to see a softening of their resistance to increase confidence levels in some, but in public at least where not going to see it. However, a combination of legal and political pressure behind closed doors will see this get resolved in our favour hopefully.
  13. Maybe it’s because he speaks to the people involved, which would give him a lot more insight than us lot. And to be fair to him he always says hopeful as opposed to confident. So did Caulkin and we all know how that turned out. He'll be hopeful as a supporter but I wouldn't be reading much else into what he says. I’m very hopeful this will get done, but can understand pessimism. I’m all in on this or my days with this club are over. On Kennedy I think he’s genuine and has sources. I also think we’ve got some big hitters on our side and I don’t think they’re going to accept defeat on this.

  16. Confidence from all sides. https://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/liam-kennedy-newcastle-uniteds-takeover-turkey-almost-cooked-can-steve-bruce-save-mike-ashleys-christmas-3064435
  17. I didn't realise that we could appeal the arbitration decision should it go against us. Not sure why I thought this but I thought the arbitration decision was final. Caulkin always said the legal action was about getting a decision, even if it’s rejected it would then allow them to appeal decision. I think it’s also considered that for any legal case to be successful they would have to show they’ve been through arbitration first.
  18. Actually the most interesting part I thought was in relation to NCSL. Kennedy implied that over next few weeks will decide whether they proceed with legal action or not. Now being a glass half full kinda guy, my take is the arbitration is due to be heard shortly. I think De Marco’s tweet regarding a heavy 3 weeks, and Kennedy’s article yesterday where he basically said this is the quiet before storm implies this heavily. Despite the bullish nature of NCSL I think they’ve cooled their jets at least publicly re court action. I’m hoping this is due to confidence in the clubs case now being the quickest route via arbitration.
  19. This is the thing though, I don't think it's a battle they can't win. "Can't" is a massive word in this context, and one that absolutely nobody can use in this situation whilst still maintaining any credibility whatsoever. Of course they can win a legal battle. They might or they might not, but they most assuredly can. But on what basis can they win? The only plausible way is if the buyers don't meet the current rules that the PL set in the requirements. This has already been said that they have. The PL definitely can't pick and choose who buys clubs and who doesn't, as long as everything was done that was asked, there really isn't much they can do imo. Exactly and that’s where the anti competition rules will come to bite them on the arse hopefully. At face value it appears the PL have breached confidentiality rules, have allowed outside interference and not followed their own rule book. If national journalists like Henry Winter were aware of which clubs were lobbying against it, you can bet your life there’s evidence. As HTT has alluded to we’ll be under new ownership by the last Friday in January at 3pm.
  20. No room for takeover fatigue you fucking lightweights it’s there to be won ! dave mcp @davemcp 6h Said it before and I’ll say it again. If #NUFC fans want this takeover then we need to expose the corruption at #EPL by pressuring our MPs to use influence and get transparent disclosure of what both govt and EPL are hiding; @NCSL1892 are on it but need our help! ZebraZebraZebra Quote Tweet Rob Gilbert-Ovens @Thegeordiefaith · 8h Said it before and I'll say it again. Takeover goes through and goes through very soon. Newcastle Consortium Supporters @NCSL1892 Replying to @davemcp Too true and well said! The NCSL, every fan group and every fan in the country needs to stand up and lock arms and fight the way Amanda Staveley asked us to, in order that the legal teams can drag this over the line! It’s there to be won. Make it public and the evidence wins!
