Exactly what Marsch just said on TV, Bruno being man marked. Tonali a little lost, in transition and tracking. Onwards and upwards. Hopefully Eddie can unlock it all.

Isak needs to get more involved - as he did the last 8-10mins

Tonali needs to play with more urgency and get back in shape defensively quicker - too often wandering back as they break.

FFS Burn. I love the guy but he needs to be on the bench. Dreadful.

Tonali is super slow getting back to cover his defensive transitions.

Hopefully that's a springboard match. I totally understand a need to conserve energy and switch up our play, but I hope our full press makes a return at some point because I really miss it and I think our style of play misses it too. 

 

I think our fans and Brentford will both agree that, as always, referee Craig Pawson, who always looks like he should be tossing a salad at the world's most boring, insuffably middle class dinner party, was absolutely fucking shit.

5 for Longstaff....??? Other than the last-minute slip, he was good. broke up the play and covered the defence. We looked far less open in the middle and I'd say that's massively to do with his covering...

Did ok, steady. Nothing to suggest it's his spot to lose. I still feel Tonali offers more quality, but I'm excited to see Anderson grow more this season.

He's very good on the edge of the box. But today was a nervy affair.

Deserved win. Longstaff certainly allows Bruno to play a more rounded game. I'd like to see Longstaff, Bruno, and (edit)...Tonali :/.

Missing some guile... Isak and Bruno are the only two players we have that can unlock the door. 

Good line up, more importantly, Botman fit is huge.
