  1. https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/newcastle-united-announces-icm-as-sleeve-partner/ New sleeve partner
  2. 1 win against Watford in a decade (a 1-0 that got us the 1st win of 18/19, the only win since the 2009/10 season) - out of 9 attempts. Hopefully history isn't on their side with that in mind.
  3. Wraith warning - Kate Stewart's come back, considering legal action allegedly. Hahaha, I was lulled a little early on but now it's comical seeing him defend that account. "She's" his "good friend" he defended a while back
  4. A few tweets back they were hiding anyone that called them out for it, it's an obvious troll account
  5. What a shoot-out. 10 each, then both goalies miss. Bournemouth win the next round of kicks and they're through
  6. Salman's a Saudi guy, writes about Newcastle but I'd call him a fan more than a journalist. A bit like if one of us started covering the club. But he's following the beIN Swiss trial and they've admitted to quite a fair bit on day one. Jack's tweet puts a few together - here's Salman's Twitter for the rest: Eerily similar to Mauriss: "buy the club/the villa in this instance and we'll do X"
  7. Where the money's coming from is anyone's guess, but we're still spending
  8. I'm curious to learn why the league is making a decision now, when the buyers pulled out publicly in July. So it shows that things were happening behind the scenes and I'm glad there's clarity. The legal battle that comes from this will be worth it, I promise! The club's taken special offence at the legal distinction between PIF and government which will make things explosive
  9. "‘I think top 10, we can get in there,’ he said. ‘The top six right now, the money spent, the players… but there’s no reason (why not) in years to come, with the players we’ve got and the manager we’ve got.’" According to this https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8714763/Ryan-Fraser-claims-Bournemouth-avoided-relegation-not-turned-short-term-deal.html, I somehow doubt top 6 given the ownership - and even the manager until we're proven wrong - is achievable!
  10. I'll break my duck of just lurking around to add something. DaGrosa's part of the GACP group which was Kenyon's bid. He spoke about the deal being "further than people thought" (DaGrosa's words) in May but "couldn't get it over the line" (Kenyon's words). Were they the ones backed by Rockefeller Capital Management? In hindsight maybe it'd be too great a risk if only the Saudi-backed group were the only genuine, complying and competent players in 3 years.
