  1. Because Castore are absolutely shite and can’t handle the demand, I’m absolutely certain that’s how we have managed to end the contract early
  2. Wonder if Barnes might start today https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/1695755788323901656 https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/1695755788323901656
  3. Christ I didn’t realise it was this bad, we’re are winless in our last 13 Premier League games against Liverpool (D4 L9) since a 2-0 home win in December 2015.
  4. The only team we haven’t got a result against since Howe came in
  5. The £30m from adidas next season will help greatly
  6. Wow, how to let everyone know that you know nothing about football, without actually saying “I know nothing about football”
  7. Absolutely this, 10/10, be an 11/10 if we move on some of the players that need to go
  8. Disagree TBH, Isak runs them ragged for 65 mins hopefully, then Wilson comes on and bullies them for the last 25

As Far is I’m aware parts of the contract will be payable if the player is moved on at certain points in his contract(without a players request). I’m not saying that we have to pay the whole lot all I’m saying is he’s still owed £15m over the length of his contract, so the club would have to pay a portion of that to get him to leave(loyalty bonuses etc) , which then comes off FFP as well as the amortisation of the Fee we paid.

Club’s normal negotiate paying off some of the contract, when they sell players, they will have terms written into the contract ie “if we sell you after 12 months we will pay you so many months of your contract”. Why do you think there are some many players that are happy to sit on the bench or reserve team and do nothing, as they know they won’t get the money there on elsewhere (Frazer/Harry Maguire) There only time clubs don’t have to pay up contracts is when the player puts in a transfer request(remember when Ashley forced Andy Carroll to put in a transfer request to move to Liverpool) As I said most of the time if the Buying club really wants the player, they will be one to pay part of the contract.

You have given a player a contract for a period of time, you can’t just sell him a year later and rip up his contract(he might be going from £100,000 per week to £50,000) clubs have to come to an agreement with the player with regards to the time left on his contract(why do you think Harry Maguire wanted £7m to leave ManU and is now staying put) if it’s a player clubs really want the buying club will sometimes absorb part of a contract to smooth a deal. Targett still has 3 years on his contract @ £100,000 per week, We would have to come to some sort of arrangement to move him on.

Unless the player puts in a transfer request, 99.99% of the time the terms of the contract need to be paid in full, he has 3 years left @£5m per season. (Why do you think we haven’t just released Frazer if that was the case)

You need to also take wages into account which is currently £15m left on his contract(unless he puts in a transfer request) so in truth we still owe about £27m in FFP terms
  14. Exactly this, I don’t understand why people can’t get that through their heads
  15. That’s right, the PL are bringing in the same rule next summer
  16. Don’t think we have the FFP room for that deal
  17. You can give any contract you want, the rules now just make amortisation over 5 years
  18. it’s absolutely hilarious, this will pull Liverpool into full on panic buying mode. With regards to Chelsea, I really think they know there going to break FFP, so are signing the players now to long contracts(so they don’t lose them for nothing) to see out a transfer ban
  19. The thing is though, we play with a very high centre back line to help our press, and ideally if you play with that high of a line your full backs need to be quick to cover. Look how many team’s concentrate on our left side because of how slow BDB is, in an ideal world we would get both a left back and a right centre back but to me the way we play a left back is more important.
  20. He might even go with Gordon and Barnes, with miggy on the bench
