Yep they have shown more energy and effort in a handful of games between them than the likes of Hendrick, Sean and Shelvey combined all season -

In what way? How is saying I appreciate the effort Almiron puts in but I don’t rate him as a player on a wind up? Or saying half our squad is championship level ( which it is) on a wind up? -

Aye. Matty and Hayden centre midfield. Anderson number 10. Fraser and ASM wide and Wilson up top is our best bet with everyone back fit Howay man. The lad has played about 20 minutes of football, how is that our best bet? Anderson is better than Almiron? Nah man. CalmintheChaos hates Almiron though. I’m no fan like, workd his socks off so I don’t dislike him I just don’t think he’s a premier league quality player and has very little end product, the stats back that up. Then again at least half our sqwad are championship level. Anyone in black and white playing with energy and effort is fine by me -

Shelvey creative The lad literally joins the defence every time he plays. He’s comfortably the most creative centre midfielder we have and the only one with any intention of passing the ball forwards. He’s got his flaws but surely you can’t pull him up for the thing he’s actually good at? 3 assists in 49 games. CREATIVE. Come on mate, it’s far more complex that assist statistics and you know it. I’m not saying he’s some sort of creatine genius but compared to the other options he’s the most forward thinking passer we have. Then consider we haven’t scored a goal in about 7-8 hours and created almost zero you can see the original posters thought process. I can't stand the sight of Shelvey, particularly when he drops back to the centre backs to get the ball, causing Joelinton to drop into centre mid so that Shelvey can play a short pass to Ritchie before it goes back to Darlow. It's mainly Bruce's fault why we create nothing, but Shelvey completely changes the game plan and we play much much worse. It's been happening for years now. Same, I can’t stand the thought of Shelvey back in the team strolling about. No chance of any pressing if he is playing. The Liverpool and Arsenal games should be the blueprint for us going forwards in getting higher up the pitch. If Shelvey starts then it’s more backfoot Bruceball -

10m Seriously do well to get someone to take him on loan and pay half his wages, when he does leave it will be on a free at the end of his contract or for peanuts

Refreshing to see that from Anderson, bust a gut to try get forward to support Murphy then when he lost it he bust a gut to get back in our box. Basics for most sides I know but we rarely see that. -

There is 100% a clause that Joe has to play a certain amount of minutes like, we may as well have 10 men yet he stays on every game. -

Who is that barking on the sideline? -
We are in dire straits if we lose to Sheff Utd though, if we need to stay up for this takeover and loans are our only option then Rojo, Williams and Lingaard would all help us out and have a big role to play. Rojo less so as our centre halfs have been fairly solid considering the pressure they are under
