I don't think personally he's worth even anywhere near £40 million. He's never impressed me greatly in the games I have seen him play for Palace. He was atrocious in the game up here last season
-
Why though? He's worth nowhere near that value

Is this Staveley greeting the players, I've got a feeling it might be, though not certain -

True there were three mistakes, but the major responsibility for that goal was Longstaff fucking up when our players were piling forward. He doesn't do that then the other things do not happen. I'm also fucked off that he is even on the pitch in the first place -

It's incredible that he is not starting with £100 million worth of players. Longstaff and Murphy should have been moved on a year or two ago. So fucking frustrating man -

Aye well done great decision -
I honestly couldn't give a fuck about any other club apart from the one I support. I'm more than happy to see the rules changed, as they should be, to resolve the massive injustice of restraint of trade and anti-competition. It doesn't happen in any other industry where owners can't invest in their own business. Other clubs / businesses are being allowed to bring in rules to deliberately stop PIF from advancing their own business and it's totally corrupt. I can't wait for the day when this injustice is stopped and the rules are forced to align with British law. As I said for the other clubs fuck them, those same clubs have done everything they can to not only hinder our progress, but put it at a grinding halt.

Paul Mitchell to leave club by mutual consent at end of June (Official)

According to some of the media, they were expecting Bruno to be sold with his buy out clause. I was banging the drum that we can't afford to lose any our purples at the time. Your bang on about the commercial deals -

It wasn't fit for purpose that's why, deadline day sales to ensure that we didn't fail PSR. Everyone on here was raging about it at the time. As I said before, he will be judged on how the next couple of windows go and rightly so. -

Howe says he has had nothing to do with the transfer window and puts the onus on Mitchell. Mitchell comes out and states this certainly wasn't the case (correctly if true, as his reputation was put on the line) and then slags off the process which was in place (a dig at DA, AS and MG). I remember the number of posts on here and social media voicing their outrage, when the two players were sold and the thread on YM which is still ongoing today. The process obviously wasn't right, when we were so close to breaking the rules and having a points deduction (bollocks rules mind). Mitchell and Howe will be judged on their performances this season. Personally I don't understand the stick Mitchell is getting, when what he said was what I see was correct. The Chairman needs to have a meeting to try to resolve any issues between the two now. Howe will be the one to depart if they can't (I personally think they will) as two highly rated Sporting Directors leaving so soon, will not be a good look. -
Just listened Tim Vickery on talk sport slagging off Bruno something rotten. I watched the first half yesterday and Bruno was in my opinion the best player for Brazil. Misplaced about 1 pass, made a few tackles and played the best ball off the half which Endrick totally fucked up. He's blaming him for the goal also. Absolute bollocks what he's coming out with. Brazil coach is out of his depth also, got to be on thin ice with his ultra negative football
-
Hopefully he is not injured, as was taking off at half time. Not down to playing badly as he was arguably Brazil's best player. Could be tactical I suppose

Gordon started on fire, but last twenty he's hardly been in the game

The worst Newcastle player you've seen in a match

Haven't checked the thread, but Rob McDonald has to be in the discussion -
Yep he has to play, he has been training for ten month and only needed match minutes. He's played two full games and played well. His fitness levels have not dropped during either match also

Sure it was a couple of year ago

They're going way over the top on Bellingham and Rigg mind (both whom they were saying shouldn't even be in the team at times during last year). Both may well be decent players (not seen it when I have watched them mind, but I have qualified that with the age they are), but based on four games (3 against teams who will finish lower table), they are being talked about as generational talents () and that Real Madrid are interested. Let's see if they're saying the same after a couple of defeats and their annual slide down the league. Some of the daft twats are already wanting us in the cup (the one they have left to play that is), exactly the same shite they were spouting last season. In the Gordon thread a few are saying (some aren't to be fair also) he only had a decent game because it was against a poor Ireland team, conveniently then ignoring that one of their first team couldn't even get into that Ireland teams first 11. Most hyperbole cunts going they are.

Nothing wrong with his interview. He will be judged on future windows and rightly so. He states that a number of improvements was required, so I don't see the problem with that. Howe came out saying he wasn't really involved and Mitchell came out and said this wasn't the case. I don't blame Mitchell at all for coming out and saying that, as his reputation was being put on the line. As I said earlier, everyone will be judged on this coming season and the results achieved and this is again rightly so. -
Canny result still think we need more of a focal point up top
