Ben Jacobs was not right about a single thing when it came to our takeover so I take this with a pinch of salt

 Not going over this again but he was right more than most.

I was watching him yesterday and he is absolutely integral to the high press, barking orders at Almiron and Murphy on when to move. Watch him next time and you'll see what am talking about.

Don't think any of our players were amazing yesterday, we were up against very good opposition and we matched them for 99% of the match.

Chris Wood is sacrificing himself for the team, he's got the right attitude and his work rate is second to none in this side. I would not take him out of the side even when Wilson returns.

Aye. When Wilson is back let’s sacrifice one of Fraser and ASM, who score and create goals and shoe-horn Wood in because he runs around a lot and shouts things at people.

’kin hell. I know he seems like a decent lad, but he’s absolutely shite.

They were the better team before Gray went off TBF. Will be a trickier game than many seem to be thinking.

Were they? I seem to recall their goal was a bit against the run of play and having a quick re-look at the stats, we dominated the first half.

They have a lot of the ball but do nothing with it and are a shambles defensively.

In American football managers get to challenge on field decisions a number of times a game, would something like that work for decisions that maybe go overlooked?

What difference would it make if the VAR ref is already sat there saying it wasn’t a mistake?

As has been repeated, they’re saying a penalty wasn’t given because there wasn’t a foul. Nothing to do with it being clear or obvious, they’re saying Murphy went down too easily.

If he listened to Howe and then changed his mind it’d open up one hell of a can of worms regarding influence.

I said yesterday, I keep expecting Everton to come good and they just don't. Two wins since September is absolutely shocking.

14 of their 22 points are from their first six games.

Their form over the last 20 games is as bad as we’ve ever seen in the PL.

Like you I expect them to win a game and to then just push clear, but it doesn’t happen. Even when they have won a game, it’s been followed up by more minging performances.

If we beat them on Thursday I fully expect them to go down.

He got quite a lot of flak for a brief period after he wore a ribbon in support of Catalan political prisoners, being asked about the same in UAE.

Sort of proves the point like. A brief bit of flack vs it being mentioned every five seconds relentlessly for us.

Man City as a club tend to get praised at every opportunity.

I have no problem with it being a topic of conversation, it’s a very important one. But lets at least be consistent with our finger pointing.

What a mess this sounds like.

Only going to get worse the better we get and more demand for tickets.

Pathetic arranging to meet people only to let them down. Some have travelled the length of the country on the back of your promise of a ticket.

He’s claiming he was outside the ground until 1.50pm, but plenty showing they were contacting him from 1.10pm and he ignored them.

He’s on the wind up for sure but i would check the FB account

They are different people with the same name. Twitter Lewis is nowt to do with it, other than shit craic online.

There’s a lot on about it on the NUFC ticket group on FB. ‘Apparently’ FB Lewis didn’t steal the tickets, but did have a shed load himself to sell.

Although he didn’t sell them all, arranged to meet at least four fans and never showed up - so they traveled for nowt.

Either way he’s a complete clown.

Watford have a fairly kind fixture list but they're a very difficult team to gauge.

I think if Everton don't beat us on Thursday, they'll be going down.

We need another win to make sure, hopefully will get that soon enough.

Don’t talk dirty to me like that, you’re making me aroused.

The fuck is wrong with this kid at the minute, didnt even go over to applaud the fans at full time.

He doesn’t unless he stole the show and gets all the plaudits. Most defeats he just sulks off.

He played like someone who was sulking because they didn’t start and was asked to come on and defend, imo.

He’s a wonderful player on his day and I suppose wanting to win and be the best isn’t the worst character trait in the world.

Since his storming Everton performance he’s had a stinker vs Villa and two poor cameos off the bench. He’s so inconsistent but that’s why he’s playing for us and not Man City.

Also, how much of a shirt pull would cause a player to go down, arguably in that position a shirt pull would keep Murphy on his feet. Therefore how much shirt and how aggressively does it need to be pulled before you get a foul. Or is shirt pulling only for non penalties now else they'd be giving them during every corner and free kick

At the point you see someone’s chest exposed because the shirt has been pulled so much, anyone who has ever played the sport would know that’d impact on a player running with the ball.

Nothing with that decision makes any sense whatsoever.

  12. Slight mistake, but it’s not his fault we should have already been 1-0 up and Havertz shouldn’t have been on the pitch.

Also Havertz had loads to do, even with the mistake and it was a naughty finish.
