  1. Typical of those necky bastards, then again, we're talking about a team who once had a beach ball score for them.

Tell Palace to get themselves to fuck. It's absolutely their perogative to demand whatever price they want for their players, I'd hope we do the same for our purples but they're absolutely at it with that price, there has to be better value elsewhere. Shame, as Guehi seems like a sound guy, I hope for his sake Palace start paying him like a 70 million pound player before they inevitably lose him for 30-40 million next year. Enjoy finishing 11th-14th

  5. 10 years ago we were going into the new season with our hopes pinned on Riviere to fire us up the table, now we have a genuine world class rolls Royce of a stud leading the line. I can't believe this man plays for our club.

60m for a player of his stature and potential is more than reasonable. I get that people will recoil at the idea of him potentially being our second highest transfer but what are we actually buying here? A potential mainstay in our staring 11 for the next 5-8 years who'll blossom into one of the senior leaders and will be vital in maintaining our no dickheads culture. Some were skeptical about the Gordon and Livramento fees too.
  7. Magedia at it again marra
  8. For me it does too, based on the fact that if we didn't win tonight the narrative would be 'England lost to the first good team they played'. How do you quantify a good international team? I'd say there's the aristocracy, ones who for generations have consistently won trophies, gone deep in tournaments and have produced elite players: Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, France, Spain The middle class, capable of winning the odd tournament here and there providing a lot of other factors fall in their favour or at least impressing at tournaments. Usually profit from having a golden generation as opposed to a consistent conveyor belt of talent: England, Netherlands, Portugal, Uruguay, Croatia, Belgium Totally subjective of course and I appreciate the 'international big gun' argument is just as tedious as the 'big club' debate
  9. I think on the balance of play, England deserved the win, the Dutch were pretty pathetic and never had a go at us, I think they may regret not being braver at times. That said, they'll be rightly livid with the referee, he was a complete homer, I hope he's doing the final. If Trippier is starting at LB on Sunday, I want Southgate to have committed Seppuku by half time.
  10. Booing national anthems is carcinogenic patter. Get to fuck with that
  11. 40 mins from kick off in a Euro Semi Final against what is on paper a throughly beatable side whose players (again, on paper) aren't as good as ours. I should be counting down the seconds to kick off, instead I'm filled with unrepentant rage that the court jester holds the keys to the castle and will serve up another bout of pissy dog shit diarrhea and hope that one of his star players can fluke a goal. I feel like we've missed the boat to win something now with Spain and Germany resurgent and France surely binning of their Steve Bruce tribute act. Maybe I feel nothing cause I know that we dint deserve to be where we are and Spain will shag us senseless in the final anyway. Jettison Southgate into the sun, I hate him.
  12. Pardew: Keep it tight, hope HBA/Cabaye/Cisse/Ba can pull a rabbit out the hat Bruce: Keep it tight, hope ASM/Wilson can pull a rabbit out the hat Safegate: Keep it tight, hope Kane/Bellingham/Saka can pull a rabbit out the hat
  13. Why change something that's worked so well in the past? Sure, we scraped past a bang average Serbia team and haven't won a single game since and have only gotten this far in the competition cause of moments of individual brilliance, but still, another semi final, ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!
  14. I don't care if he's a Newcastle player or not, Trippier at LWB is the absolute pits. What's the point of taking Shaw if he isn't ready by the semi final. I don't believe for one second that there are no viable LBs aside from an out of form, over the hill Tripps and a crock who hasn't played since Feb. Get Southgate so far to fuck, I seriously despise this cunt
  15. Jonathan Davis is going nowhere though, he just signed a new 3 album deal to remain as Korn lead singer
