Still plenty time so no need to panic but it does feel like it's going to only be two more signings rather than the 4 we probably need, see where we are nearer end of window. We've went in for players all the other top teams were wanting, we really need to go back to getting players like Bruno Tonali Isak out of the blue and players with potential just outside the level of player the ones we are competing with go for. Four weeks til season kicks off and important we have two more bodies in by then, we were never going to buy players in June with PSR but all the talk of having no psr constraints now we'd have thought we'd of had at least one more player through the door by nearly the end of July

Probably best to get another keeper in even if just a cheaper back up ( Ortega maybe tho I think he'd want first team) Just feel striker is the priority alongside centre back and worst comes to worst if a keeper is canned Dubs did well last season when called upon Hope we can get Keeper striker Defender midfielder but speed we do transfers at best I think we only sign two more

Wouldn't even say goalkeeper is that much of a priority with us really needing to get Striker Defender & Midfielder, probs best to kick the can of a goalkeeper signing til next summer and focus on the other areas

Striker Midfielder Defender Goalkeeper Imo that's the priority order tho could easily switch around defender and midfielder Have a feeling we might only sign two more players but would be happy with first 3 even if it meant shelving keeper plans til next summer

He won't be coming when Mbeumo goes Manure I'd be shocked if we don't sign one or two that we haven't even been linked with yet

Hopefully this doesn't drag on for ages, we still need a Centre back as well as ideally a new midfielder plus Trafford

We are going to end up with DCL after exhausting all our other options

Mateta would be worth a punt being in his last year and Liverpool now won't want him as they getting Ekitike

Can't see both Wissa & Mbeumo leaving, unless stupid money was bid for whichever player was sold second

Great player Wissa but probably cost circa £50m for a 28 year old, doesn't feel our type of signing, nice to see we've quickly moved from ekitike so doesn't drag all summer!

Turns out it's not, JD Sports newcastle only had the pink shorts in, they getting a small restock of the shirts end this week/start of next week and once they gone they gone Apparently it's an error release, the yellow and pink tops were an option for this season and yellow was chosen, JD accidentally bought some of the pink prototype before the decision to go with yellow was made, so they just selling them off. Club shop won't be stocking them at all

It's going to be a long summer! Least we know we have the ability to break our transfer record if we want to. Keeping Isak is the priority but God knows who we move onto next if we miss out on ekitike - the drop off to DCL 😮

Surely if we spent 86m for ekitike on top of the 55m on Elanga with us needing a centre back & goalkeeper then we will end up selling a player like Gordon if Liverpool bid big - unless we still sign a centre back and push back signing a keeper for another year?
