Nah not the yellow one from under Ashley, got the yellow green striped one from 89-90. Don't get how the club are selling two kits from Ashley days.

Anyone else reckon the score draw retro shirts club shop sells are crap? Bought the yellow green striped away one and the material is so thin, started to fray and nick within a couple of days, seen better qualities off DH Gate.

Main bits I think will be packed very earlier on is SJP or nearer the end of the route so people can get over to town moor - around Haymarket I think is probably best bet if not getting down pretty earlier on. -

Where people thinking best places to stand on the route will be? Tempted to stand on top one of the car parks but think they will be either rammed or closed off... Might rock up about 3 but maybe everywhere be proper crowded by then? -

Leaning towards just the cup route bit and then a couple beers in town. Only part I'm interested in at the moor is seeing the players on stage and the light show but players probably be on stage less than half an hour I reckon, not fussed in slightest about a DJ or rewatch of the match. -

Reckon be able to do the bus route first then head up to the moor for just before 6 to catch the players there and ending of that? Just thinking might be a faff doing both as town be heaving even tho just a short walk up to the moor. -

Great North Road closed most of day 29th, have a feeling there will be a bus parade from there through past SJP ending about 6pm on the Moor which is the expected arrival time of the players. Be a bit of a chew on watching the parade and heading down to town moor to catch the ending of it up there so probably be one or other for fans. Would like to do both but probs only do parade if defo one of some sort as don't fancy standing in a cows field for hours on end sober! -

Pretty sure the registering of interest will just be so club and council can know numbers attending so they can best prepare... Surely everyone who wants to go will be able to? Bit crap it seems there's going to be no bus parade and would also be bad craic if people who wanted to go couldn't because of not being able to get tickets. -
From what I have read, is it right those paying by direct debit and coming off the long term deal it will just auto renew at the new prices?

Ano there's been a bit of hype around this originals collection but there won't be queues outside club shop like a kit launch will they? Also anyone any idea if JD will be stocking it?

Newcastle United 0-2 Manchester United (26/02/2023)

Just woken up, got a be hangover from hell, an empty bank balance but although the result wasn't what we wanted, it was all worth it We have our club back, we don't demand a club that wins, just a team that tries and try we did - we got to a final and we will be back and we will win soon The atmosphere was electric and the scenes and singing at 90 mins 2-0 down just shows we have the best fans in the world. The game itself we struggled, started off bright, 2 quick goals killed us similar to Liverpool game last week and we couldn't get back into it. Had most of the ball and got into good positions on our wings but the final ball wasn't there. To next time but for now GET ME HOME -

People understimate the size of this rebuild job. We have the foundations in place, we have signed good players so far and will continue to do so, I'm confident we will get what we need in the next couple weeks. In the short medium term, Amanda and Jamie Reuben holding their current stakes doesn't make too much of a difference. Next season we will get increased sponsorship and therefore increased spending power. Beyond after next season though, if we do have aims of challenging at the Top within 5-10 years then surely AS and JR dilute their stakes, being bought a bit out by PIF which will then further accelerate the speed of spending and growth. We are in good hands, we have spent £150m net in two windows with more spending to come. We have progressed a lot in less than a year and will continue to do so. When they took over they said be patient this is an investment and it will take hard work and time. Some fans have too much expectation because of when the takeover happened, the media over hyped it and fans starting seeing Saudi money flashing in their eyes and thinking this would be the next Man City, when in reality it isn't, FFP prevents that. City have a 14 year head start on us, it will take time to bridge that gap, spending loads of money doesn't guarantee success, look at Everton. Keep getting small wins and progressing and we will get there in time. The gold old story of the tortoise beating the hare in a race!
