Away end wasn’t bad. Not a classic show of support but nothing to be critical over really. Quietest concourse I’ve experienced this season mind. Home support apart from a few roars for some big tackles was very subdued.

Understand the reasons but 12:30 UK is not conducive to a good footballing atmosphere.

Couldn’t move on the concourse. Not loud but could barely stand still.

  2. After the Chelsea semi final we played West Ham a few nights later and was half full. Our away support has always been good but it’s not as glorious as it’s made out to be when we’re slagging current away ends.

It has mate - the difference this season to last in away ends is staggering

Fair enough. Know you go every week. Last season was good because we were flying but were already starting to see people who it had seemed like had never been to a game.

  4. I’ve not been as much this season but everyone seems to think the two good atmospheres were Old Trafford and Chelsea. Both of which we were winning for most of the game. Probably also had people prioritising CL games and missing league games. Don’t agree with most of the ticketing changes but don’t think it’s changed a huge amount.

  5. He shouldn’t get sacked but the choice of potential managers is much bigger now than when he was appointed. He probably wouldn’t be considered now if he was available.

Aren't you the absolute bell end for calling out fans who boycotted against Ashley? Fuck off you weapon.

I said you can’t call people that stopped going as loyal as people who still went. They may have thought they were doing right but can’t consider that being more loyal. And fuck you as well.

I can't really remember much about the Castle Leazes carry-on, what's changed since then? Seemed at the time that the majority of fans were in favour of the new ground, now its "sickening" or "tearing out the club's soul"?

People who didn’t go or wanted to go when it suited them started to want to go again so wanted a bigger ground regardless of what it meant to the ground in the 90s. Then they stopped going when they could go and now want to go again so want a bigger ground regardless. And there are more of them than people who actually go and will keep going.

  8. City have cheated like fuck financially to be the best team in the world and people still pay 500 quid to get in. That should be how to do it rather than people accepting they need to pay more. The pressure on the fans to do anything or pay more should be none.

If you build a ground with loads of bars and a huge standing end lads would get in early. Happens at Celtic spurs etc now

Have you tried getting a pint or anything to eat anywhere near those grounds?

sorry, just seen same post above.
