Agreed and not just direct CL money either, we can justify charging more on advertising etc due to the new ruling as it’s being seen more. Also I can’t see every top player now saying “let’s sign for Newcastle as they now have champions league football for the first time in 20 years.”

We went on a 9 game unbeaten run this season after the Man City game on 4/3 and before that we’d only won 6 games out of 24 - that’s only a win every 4 games.

Agree on 99% of that except I see it as we will have a missed opportunity rather than blame, there’s no blame to be had after this season. Our squad is nowhere near as deep as the teams around us and to take the fight to 3 games to the end is nothing short of amazing in my opinion.

Both toothless I thought - Sunderland let a bad corner go in and Luton’s was a free kick. I reckon with boro or Coventry will beat any of these.
