This is true but you'll never get stories like this from ASM - Barnes looks to continue run against villa. Each player has their own ups and downs and it's a shame we can't keep them both but it is what it is. As i've said loads of times in last few days, this is the first time we've had to make a 'sacrifice' under new owners has so far it's been taking new players and it was always gonna happen one day. I read somewhere, maybe the athletic way back when we had just signed him that that’s exactly what will happen - him and Bruno will be interchangeable and will even do that throughout the game with one dropping deep and the other going further forward.

I think it’s safe to say now that Howe is buying players he wants rather then players for positions as there’s other positions so there’s every chance we go back in for him.

Agreed - in barnes and miggy we have two wingers that’s scored 24 goals last season. Bearing in mind the chances are from the offset a lot of teams will sit deep then I think this is huge for us.

Did isaks dribble in from the touch line not give you the X factor, did Murphys goal against spurs or any of miggys goals, the spurs game in general or the Brighton or hammering West Ham? There was a lot of X factor moments last season and I haven’t even mentioned Wilson’s amazing end to the season. 99% of what’s happened since Howe came in has been fantastic but there’s always give and take - this is the first sacrifice we’ve had to make in the transfer market and I suggest we more Positive.

That’sa fair point - I’ve been too tough on miggy as I did say it was a purple patch a lot.
