99% of people on here are brilliant but I genuinely don’t want to talk to you anymore, life’s too short
-
They’re also not gonna keep them because Christ from the internet thinks they should, I was giving my opinion and you go into arsehole mode. the day we need to call on these players in prem games is the day we probably start letting in more goals. We’ve all done it for years with Lascelles waiting for a stupid mistake to allow a goal. Get a lb in and especially when target returns we have burn to cover cb so I personally won’t lose any sleep over lascelles going.
-
I was saying it in reply to the post

Last game lascelles and manquillo started is one very few games we conceded more than one goal in and we got beat off Shef Wed. even the lowest footballers wages is high and to keep them around because they’re apparently good crack seems mental to me personally. This summer we’re gonna have a new shirt sponsor coming in and we need to get finances right - surely top of the to do list is going to be trim the squad and remove unwanted players.
-
For £3m - we could have all had a whip round on here and bought him for the club, helluva deal by the looks of it.

A man called Shankland whose scored 16 goals from 23 games this season is starting ahead of Kuol, let that sink in.
-
Shankland sounds like a night club in Sunderland
-
Agreed- is crazy how much people think he should be starting every game - is a really poor league he’s come from, he’s young and we all praise Howe for the way he takes his time with players so why is this any different?
-
Not wanting to sound harsh or anything but it’s apparent the new owners and Eddie and his team have big expectations and targets, you don’t get that by carrying players not playing because they set the right tone or whatever is crazy. if getting rid of a few of these players freed up wages for a new striker or cm then surely that’s the best thing. We also have to remember ffp is about outgoings as well so if players aren’t contributing and not needed then get rid in my opinion.

I also wonder if Southampton had set up to push miggy down the line then we swapped it out to a player who wanted that.
-
Well that’s won the argument
-
99.99999% agree with you and Murphys got some stuck from me but in the Southampton game and watching miggy try to cut in all game with no success then Murphy came on, ran down the wing and whipped a ball in right across the 6 yard line of the box gave me a little food for thought.

There’s once was a little scouse twat who had a face like a rat him and schar once had a row then he signed and we said everything’s ok now But I’ll never soon forget that
-
Really hope you’re right.

Have to admit, love Howe and all that but I’m with the world on this one as is my family. He has a lot to prove to some of us I reckon.

They’ve been being on this week about him posting photos of him in a hotel in London or something. -

I think they should sell - I live in Leicester and so many fans are pissed that they hang on too long and contracts are gonna run down to nothing. But that’s the way they run things. -
We’ve bid for loads of players who aren’t interested, loads turned us down and that’s nothing wrong with that as you have to try.

Can’t set it happening, Leicester have proven last two windows they’re not a selling club and are willing to let contracts run down. -
Genuine question - where’s the info come from that he wants to come here? And do they have to sell even if he hands in a transfer request.
-
Think they’ve rejected several offers now - they don’t want to sell him.
-
Exactly this and I don’t believe Everton want him - I read it once a few days ago and I believe this guys just releasing the same article I read.
-
Well put and sums my feelings up perfectly.

For starters we have new sponsorship deals and departures in the summer but I believe that clubs may be letting Chelsea shoot themselves in the foot as well by going crazy then waiting for the rule change so they can’t spend as much in the summer. i always thought end of this season is when the real work begins as we have quite a few contracts ending. Oh and of course ffp is a rolling 3 years thing so you need to spread it out a little so you always have something to fall back on in suppose.
