Again you’re excusing these things that should have been dealt with before isak and excusing them because of that, we s as could have got CM and CB in asap like we did with Elanga and that would have been good planning as we knew before window opened we needed these.

All we done even before Isakgate is just go for the same names that everybody knows in the prem and got gazumped , Trafford deal passed us by, no plans for Longstaff replacement and we knew he was going before the isak carry on and no CB lined up even though we’d sold Kelly and couldn’t bring Guehi in so must have been agreed we needed one, these are all things that could have been planned for long before the window opened so we could get business done early. This is not planning.

Even Sunderland seem to have their back teams in order, plenty on here have. Laughed at their signings but they came up debt free, sold the players who wanted to go very quickly, decided on their budget it seems, went out and bought. The back room setup surely must be low hanging fruit and one of the easiest things to get sorted ready, should have been done a long time before the window opened.

I’m talking about actions not words - we had an offer accepted days ago and nothing, hasn’t even turned it down - just left it hanging until Man U get a bid accepted, even though we’ve shown we want him more and had more belief in him with putting up more money and coming back a few times where Man U seem to have rocked up with a yeah we’ll bid as well attitude it’s obvious how this plays out.

Doesn’t mean he’s wrong, if Sesko wanted us then the deal would have been done ages ago, we’ve been used to smoke Man U out and that’s blindingly obvious.

Couple of weeks ago I reckon, maybe sooner- everyone telling themselves last few windows we couldn’t do anything but no excuses for this window and I reckon there will be a lot of sobering thoughts going around.

Now wissa is back in training I don’t think he’s for sale anymore, we didn’t push when he was on strike and that ship had sailed I reckon.
