Apparently theyāve already been in touch with Arsenal for a striker and reports are theyāll reluctantly sell him, look I get you donāt want him and thatās cool as we all have opinions and thatās yours, my opinion is I want him so just be good with that as I am with your opinion.
-
I admit Iām a hypocrite, want him and couldnāt give a fuck, difference is we did is with decency I reckon as we put a bid in and just left it, no snide stories to the press or whatever we just stepped away and let it be, sick of us doing this properly and getting shit on by other clubs whose selling hotels, womenās teams, a billion in debt and running to the press. If getting a proven premier league goal scorer for a price that suits us (weāll never pay 50 mil) so it prolongs our long term issues for a couple of years then Iām fine with that.
-
I personally couldnāt care less if we get him or not. I know nothing about him and whatever happens then so be it, thatās where Iām at with the whole bloody thing at the moment.

Thatās a nice setting as well wherever it is

Asking opinions and nothing else - should WR be trying him up front rather than Gordon sometimes? -

Feel thatās harsh on midfield to say youāre tearing your hair out with midfield when we have players like tonali and Bruno. We need to replace Longstaff but lack of quality? -
Can we drop this now please and pretty pretty please have one thread not talking about Liverpool or Isak? I genuinely come into this thread to escape that.
-
More I reckon- if Howe had a proven pl goalscorer to bring on and rotate worth heād use it more I reckon.
-
Is it his going on strike, flying home early from their training camp or demanding meetings with their chairman and refusing to train or play in the friendly or even turn up when he reportedly only lives four miles away after Eddie Howe came out and said heās not a replacement for Isak but more for Wilson that makes you think he wonāt be happy fighting for a place alongside Isak? Again heās apparently played for 28 grand a week and done it for years and now has a chance at both CL football and in front of our crowds.

Itās worse in forums - using the same analogy on forums people look for that same forecast just to say āit is 100% going to be 35 degrees today, bbc said so and ITV are wankers and wrongā just for others to say āno mate - ITV are correct, BBC havenāt a clue so itās going to rainā. None of us, including most online journalists donāt know - only difference between us is the journalists probably donāt care.
-
You mean Crystal Palace arenāt direct rivals with Man City š - I agree with you for what itās worth and I never expected any of our players to retire here and if we could sell for a profit and learn to do it well and use that to grow us but not become known for just that like Brighton are ie get the balance right then great. I had no problems with selling Minteh for example ands thought the meltdown of some was insane but weāve been brought up in a time of the shearer where players retired for their boyhood club, not like that any more and never will be.
-
Agreed- referring to the highest open play goal scorer in the premier league last season, 19 goals and none are penalties, Brentfordās highest ever premier goal scorer and a man whose still single single figures for premier league games missed due to injury as āa last resortā is a massive case of self entitlement for me. So what if he is a step down from Isak, who the fuck isnāt. And on top of that heās done all of this for around 30 grand a week and been cool about it until we came knocking. I want him - end of as far as Iām concerned.
-
With him not playing yesterday ands a few days for realisation to settle for Brentford Iād come in, offer a bit more say Ā£35m so they can look like theyāve saved face and get it done personally
-
Thatās fine for Liverpool as they have the players to rotate, rest him and protect him - weāre running him into the Knackers yard due to lack of choices, Iāve seen games we were 4 - 0 up and still couldnāt bring him off for a rest. Not saying keep him as I hate what heās done but even having Wissa could potentially get so much more out of Isak throughout the season.
